LDRS Creative : Summer!

Hey there!

I just wanted to show you this oldie but goldie card made with Summer, a stamp from the Saturated Canary line at LDRS Creative. She's now retired, but I thought she'd be purposeful with the beautiful weather we've been having lately.

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps : New release blog hop with Mermaid friends!

Woot woot, it's blog hop time for the new release at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! All the sets are now available in store and you should run while you can to get them ALL!!

I've used the other mermaid from Emilie's designs called Mermaid Friends, and frame the scene with a few sentiments :-)

LDRS Creative is hopping!

Good morning and welcome to an awesome hop!

I first chose an image (Looking Gorgeous from the All Dressed Up line at LDRS Creative) that I wanted to turn into a kind of gothic look with dark papers and a bright teal touch with my Copic markers. After stamping her in a pale ink and when the colouring was done, I stenciled the regular oval from the Gilded Oval die set and cut the silhouette with my scissors , and then die-cut another regular oval in a pattern paper, and a Gilded frame in brown cardstock.

Then, after placing everything in a sketchy way, I picked out a few strings of twine to frame the whole thing. I also added a huge bow next to the image, so that the focal point would stay in the same area. And why not add a double-loop bow with some light blue trim right into the flowers?

Oh and to give a bit more dimension to this funky sketch, I die-cut the third guilded design from the die set twice, and folded them in two, so that they would appear as door locks or binders on the side of the card.

I used the Beachy Keen stamp set along with gorgeous Graphic 45 papers that were released last year if I'm not mistaken, but clearly fits the theme!

I used Kimono Marci with Umbrella, along with many dies : Arched Window (from the latest release), Flower Banner and Scalloped Trim Banner (also from the latest release), Small Lacy Border, and of course, Stitched Nested Circles.

La-La Land Crafts : Go Fishing Luka for a masculine card!

Okay, I'm back!

This second card was created for the new masculine theme challenge over at La-La Land Crafts!
Mister Go Fishing Luka seemed like a perfect match for this Father's Day and I wanted to pair him with two sets of dies; Stitched Nested Circles and Picket Fence. Isn't he just perfect?!

Chi Chi Memories : Back to school card!

2e publication aujourd'hui pour Chi Chi Memories! J'aime beaucoup ces petits personnages autant versatiles que rapides à mettre en couleurs, alors j'ai tourné celle-ci en retour à l'école :) On le remarque pas vraiment, mais j'ai ajouté une touche de Diamond Glaze sur les verres des lunettes hihi...

Yep, me again on this sunny Friday afternoon, with a second card for Chi Chi Memories. I used Book Worm just in time for Back-To-School! I think this stamp is perfect for any teacher's gift, right? Oh and you might notice that adding a touch of Diamond Glaze or Glossy Accents gives a whole new dimension to the glasses...just sayin'!

Papernest Dolls : All Dolled Up Mini Album

Je suis super contente de vous présenter ce mini-album, car j'y ai beaucoup travaillé dernièrement afin de l'offrir à une amie qui m'est chère. Elle m'avait demandé d'inclure ses deux étampes préférées de Papernest Dolls, soient Punk Avery et Girl Talk, alors je leur ai donné une petite touche funky et bien personnelle. 

J'adore le fait que les papiers soient aussi bien agencés au projet, avec la découpe "All Dolled Up".

I'm really happy to show you this mini-album, all made from scratch, that I am offering to a sweet gal. She wanted to include two of her favourite rubber stamps from Papernest Dolls, Punk Avery and Girl Talk, so I added my touch on and around them ;-)

I think the papers are just perfect for them, with the All Dolled Up die-cut!
