A World of Creative Possibilities: Blog Hop

I was raving about how cute the 'So This Is Love' stamp set was during preview days, so of course I had to keep working with it and create another card! For today's project, I first stamped and colored the little couple in bed with alcohol markers, then fussy cut them with sharp scissors. Next, I created some kind of frame onto a white A2 cardbase by blending inks within a section delimited by purple tape. When the card front was done, I was ready to stamp a sentiment in crisp black ink into that inked rectangle and I added my image with foam adhesive right on top of it.

The Greeting Farm: June Blog Hop!

The JUNE 2020 RELEASE is now available for purchase in The Greeting Farm Store! Our first set called FLUTTERBY ANYA features an adorable girl who's beautiful spirit draws all the butterflies. So, I think I promised I was going to keep playing with the 'Like Like You' stamp set, right? Here it is once again, with two of the characters, stamped in Peachy Keen hybrid ink from LDRS Creative and colored with Copic markers for a no-line look. And have you seen that bold and cute sentiment?! The perfect touch for my oh-so-simple card!

The Greeting Farm: #spreadjoynotgerms Official Blog Hop

Hey all!

Welcome to the #spreadjoynotgerms official blog hop initiated by Catherine Pooler, Hedgehog Hollow and 31 other companies! I'm so happy that The Greeting Farm is part of this hop and will be offering a $25 Gift Certificate!

Here is my card featuring the Hello Spring Word die and the unicorn from You're A Gem stamp set. Nothing screams more happy thoughts to me than unicorns, rainbows and Spring season!

To create this card, I first stamped the unicorn from You're A Gem stamp set with my Mini Misti tool and my favorite Raven hybrid ink from LDRS Creative onto a piece of coloring cardstock (I like to use the Cryogen White one, but it's no longer available anywhere :( :( :( )

Next, I used Copic markers to create a rainbow look on her hair and a bit of grey shading to accentuate her sparkly white skin.

When she was done, I fussy cut her with my trusty Cutter Bee scissors, leaving a thin white border all around her silhouette.

Next, I created an A2 white cardbase from Neenah Solar White 100lbs cardstock, folding from the top. I glued directly on top of the card front an A2 white panel cut out and embossed at the same time from another sheet, using the With All My Heart cover die from LDRS Creative.

I added the little unicorn at the bottom with foam tape, for more dimension. Then, I diecut three pieces of the Hello Spring Word die from The Greeting Farm, all from different colors of Bazzill Card Shoppe cardstock, so that they would echo the rainbow feel of my image.

Word dies can be scary to glue down, but fear not, spray adhesives are the key! I always keep a cheap box to spray within on my piece and then pick it up with a pair of tweezers. It's easy and so fun to layer them, slightly next to each other!

Finally, I added a few crystals and sequins for a nice finishing touch on this super happy project!

For today's card, I decided to combine not one, but two of the new sets! I couldn't resist the adorable Holiday Anya 7. She'll be on my Christmas cards this year for sure, along with the Santa Baby diecut. They make it so EASY to create in no time at all, when paired together. I kept it quite CAS, too, so that I could mail it without paying the package fee, hehe!

For today's project, I went with the Happy Birthday die set, that I diecut twice and glued slightly off on top of another of the Cheeky Gals that I had previously colored. Having the shadow teal cardstock to match some of the clothing on the Cheeky image really gets the whole project together!

For today's project, I couldn't resist pulling out the 'Take A Hike' stamp set again, because it just called to me SO much! Being a camper, you just cannot resist to this, I swear.

I created a simple background with Oxide inks to feature a starry night sky, then added a sentiment directly in the center and popped a few images that were colored with Copic markers and fussy cut. I really like how each of the images in this set can stand on its own, but also can come together beautifully without being too much!
