But the masterpiece is definitely that gorgeous mint green flower! Loooooook! Precious!

And yellow is always useful to call in happiness ;-)

I Am Roses: New challenge, You are the sunshine of my life!

Hello, all!

Today is all about the new Anything Goes challenge at I Am Roses! If you have never played with these gorgeous flowers yet, well now is your chance!
I selected an old stamp set that I had in my stash from LDRS Creative to create a very heavily layered card for the challenge using some Prima papers that would coordinate well with my chosen flowers from I Am Roses.

I just love how you can always choose the right flower, mixing it with others, and come up with a beautiful result!

So make sure to participate in our Anything Goes challenge!

LDRS Creative : Spring is blooming!

Hello, all!
I'm back with you today for LDRS Creative and I'm very happy to share a project that screams SPRING and will hopefully inspire you!

I wanted to play with the newest products in store and show you how easy it is to put together a stunning project in no time. I first started by cutting a white A2 cardbase (4.25"x5.5"), then I cut a piece of pattern paper from the new 6"x6" TLC Cotton paper pad at 3.75"x5" that I matted with some navy cardstock at 4"x5.25".

Once the base was stacked, I stamped the gorgeous gal from the new Let Love Grow stamp set with the fabulous Raven Hybrid Ink and coloured her with alcohol markers. Once she was done, I die-cut her with the square die from the new Ribbon Gift Frame set, also cutting some pattern paper from the previous pad so that I could layer both pieces slightly angled on the cardbase.

I decorated with more die-cuts, a few flowers and that was it! See how easy and fun the project turned out in no time :-)

La-La Land Crafts: Flowers inspiration!

Good morning, all!

Just wanted to stop by and share another fun inspiration project for La-La Land Crafts, because it's Monday, yay! I used the gorgeous Hello There Marci with a no-line colouring technique and I'm more than proud of the result.

She is paired with two awesome flamingos that I intertwined together; how cuter can they get?! There is also a great bunch of amazing dies on there, such as the deco panel, a stitched tag, a stiched bow and the cameo frames, all made with a gorgeous collection from Crate Paper. I completed the project with some sweet flowers from I Am Roses and white Nuvo Drops from Tonic Studios.

Hair (E44-47-49)

I Am Roses: March challenge, Anything Goes!

Hello everyone!

I am back to share with you some inspiration for the new challenge at I Am Roses that calls for Anything Goes. Seriously, guys, all you need to enter this challenge is to use your flowers. And if you are like me... well... stop hoarding them, eheh! I make it a personal challenge to use more and more of them, especially on mini-albums and altered items.

On today's project, I used a bunch of colorful flowers that would match my pattern paper from Crate Paper perfectly, along with a now-retired image from LDRS Creative and Nuvo Drops. Don't you just love these Spring hues?!

LDRS Creative and I Am Roses: Flowers everywhere for Spring!

Hello, all!
I'm back with you today for LDRS Creative and I Am Roses to share more fun inspiration with the new release that is JUST about to be in your hands! Isn't it exciting?! And I have one neat tip to tell you today with the brand new Let Love Grow stamp set from the Cre8tive Cre8tions line.

When I first received the Let Love Grow stamp set, I didn't know by which element to start. They are all fabulous! But instead of going straight for the character, I decided to create a full panel with different flowers and leaves, stamping them randomly, but keeping in mind that the tulip was the focal point of the entire project. There is something quite promising with tulips on a card done at the end of February :-P

When the stamping part was done, I coloured them all with my favourite medium and die-cut the panel with the amazing Heart Felt Build-A-Card die set by using the largest pieces and then creating an easel cardbase for them to stand on. I matted the base with some very light pattern paper from the new Cotton Candy 6x6 paperpack. And since it was an easel card, what better choice than to decorate the bottom part of the card with a string of hearts die-cut from the same die set, right?

And of course, I added lots of beautiful flowers from I Am Roses to create a stopper for my easel card:

La-La Land Crafts : Black and white inspiration and a GREAT news!

And for this first post, I decided to do something a bit special with Heart Hands Molli for the Black and White theme at La-La Land Crafts. The entire card is B&W :-D

I used various dies as well, because they cut like butter and are always fun to pop onto any kind of projects: Nested Frames LargeNested Frames Small Vintage PhoneDeco CornerHello TagOpen Leaf Flourish.

LDRS Creative and I Am Roses: Sometimes all you need is a hug...

Hello, all!
I'm back with you today to share some creative inspiration with the brand new release that is about to hit the store VERY soon at LDRS Creative!
Are you as excited as we are? I sure hope so! And I wanted to show you today a very huggable set from a new artist debuting with us. Both the image, the hearts and the sentiment are from one stamp set called HUGGABLE STAMP SET

I really wanted this card project to show how soft-looking the new Country Friends paperpad from the Polkadoodles line is. And also, can you spot a few dies as well? There's one amazing set called Ribbon Gift Frame and Bows that you will ABSOLUTELY need in your stash, and a fabulous Lamp Post one that will be the perfect finishing touch to every project, not only cardmaking!

And can you tell I've been dying to use some flowers with the collection as well? Of course, these beauties are from I Am Roses and you can find all of them here:

These fun products are almost upon you, you only have to wait a few more days, don't worry! And stay tuned for more inspiration!

I Am Roses et Lime Citron : Je pense à toi!

Hi guys!

Third post of the day, I know, I know... but it's for a good reason! The first two were releases (OMG!) and this one is for a combined challenge both for I Am Roses and Lime Citron

I just love this card, so many purple tones! And I rarely go into these waters, eheh!

I Am Roses  is all about ANYTHING GOES,  so you clearly can't miss this one!

And Lime Citron has the cutest moodboard ever, so make sure to play!

The Greeting Farm: a BIG mini-album with lots of flowers from I Am Roses!

Hey, all!
Stephanie with you today for my first official permanent DT post with The Greeting Farm! Of course, I was never far far away, but I'm so excited to share with you my passion *ahem obsession* for TGF :-)

And the project I'm showing you today is nowhere near small... I mean, we were all completely mad with the Mad Hatter exclusive kit, right?! I know, I know, it's not available any more, but you could be on a waiting list and get first dibbs when rereleased! Just contact Marie through the store site and she'll happily write your name down! Which brings me to say that whenever you receive news of a preorder for a special kit, don't think twice and GET IT! Lesson learned :-P

I couldn't help it, when I first saw this kit a few months ago, I went completely crazy and had to do something special with it, Alice in Wonderland being one of my favourite tales of all times. I just love how whimsical the characters look with their hats and fancy outfits. And since I wanted to use them all into one project, I went with a mini-album concept that folds and unfolds panels, creating little "scenes" for each one. It closes with a very large ribbon, so that there'd be "space" for every scene to have a bit of dimension.

Isn't it colourful enough? I find it so cheery! I stamped all the images with pale ink, so that once coloured with my Copic markers, it would look like a no-line colouring, adding a soft look effect to the whole thing.

Another section...

Some inked panels matching the girls' hair!

And last but not least, some elements from the stamp kit were also used to create my own pattern paper, like the tea pot and cups, or sentiments.  Of course, I added some gorgeous flowers from I Am Roses, which are all in multiple tones depending on the panels:

the medium roses, the little S10 flowers, curly roses, carnations, cherry blossoms

I hope you like this kind of projects, as I intend to do more on videos in future posts!

I Am Roses: First challenge of 2018!

Hey, all!

If you're here for the I Am Roses challenge, then you're at the right place! If not, just scroll down ;-)

We are looking at another awesome year of creativity with the gorgeous flowers at I Am Roses and I'm thrilled to continue my term with them! So, as always, the 15th of each month is when we launch a new challenge and this month is ANYTHING GOES!

I wanted to vary a bit this time and paired the lovely hues with a collection by Crate Paper that really brought them out! I also used a Mad Hatter stamp from The Greeting Farm, an LDRS Creative die-cut and some nuvo drops by Tonic Studios.

I challenged myself into doing something out of my comfort zone once in a while, but taking pictures is already not easy, now imagine trying to get a good shot at this card, eheh! TG it'll make someone happy :-P

Now, as always, make sure to hop on the I Am Roses challenge blog to add your beautiful creations and show us what you've made with these beauties!

LDRS Creative: Sweet Christmas!

Hello everyone!
I'm back with you today for another Christmas inspiration card. I know, Christmas is over, but I keep telling my crafty friends that I'm working ahead for next year! And what better products to use than LDRS Creative, right?
So, with today's card, I want to share a tip about placing sentiments onto a card. LDRS Creative has some amazing word dies in store, that you can either use as a stand-alone or complementing a project, like I'm showing you today. They are quite large (yay!), so I decided to simply lay them over my stamped image. To do so, all you have to do is to add tiny bits of glue on the section that will touch your paper, avoiding the sections that wouldn't, or else things might get messy (talking from experience, here!).
Did you recognize the lovely I can't reach image from the Candibean line? I actually had to look in my files to see if I hadn't done this exact same sketch with the same image last year, given that I had this project so clear in my head. Call me crazy! So I first stamped and coloured her with Copic markers, then I used the Fancy Rectangles & Layers Die Set to die-cut her out. I paired her with lovely tones that matched the Winter Land - 6x6 Paper Pack used for the cardbase. Oh and I also took a shortcut by paperpiecing her dress and hat with the pattern paper, too!
And then I added both the Sweet word die from last year's release, and the newest Christmas word die at the bottom of the image. They kinda create a frame, without overshadowing her, don't you think?
Overall, this is a project I'm very happy to have on hands for next year and I cannot wait to send it to my family and friends! Did you receive any nice LDRS Creative products during the Holidays? Make sure to come and show us your crafty haul on the Facebook group!
Until then, xxx
