The Greeting Farm: Enjoy

Hello, all!
I am super happy to share a very quick and easy project for The Greeting Farm using the newest digital stamp in store, Cheeky Darling! She is just the cutest thing, and one little bird told me she was a very favourite in the Cheeky line! And if you were wondering if you had seen her in these colours before, the answer is yes! I did a quick video on Instagram when she was launched :-)
Since I already had my image all coloured up, I fussy cut her with sharp scissors and she was ready to be placed on a white A2 cardbase with two die-cuts to frame her nicely. I really wanted to add a sentiment at the bottom of the card, so I took out the lovely Enjoy clear set and borrowed a sentiment that fits perfectly!
I hope you like this project and cannot wait what YOU come up with!

Club La-La Land Crafts: April 2018 edition, take two!

Me, again!

I really wanted to make sure you would see more inspiration from the April 2018 kit with the Club La-La Land Crafts seen on my Youtube channel last week, so I did two more projects!

The first one is all three hippos from the kit paired with a gorgeous sentiment and two of the dies that are included in the full package.

Copic used:
Hippos (C5-3-1, BV60)
Pink (RV29-25-23-21)
Teal (BG18-15)
Yellow (E35-33, Y19-15)
Brown (E59-57-35-33)

The second one is made using the lovely Marci that many of you saw on my Instagram account when I was testing different hairstyles. I just love how the two-tone turned out! She is stacked over a shaker card, made with a few die-cuts and stamped hibiscus, also from the kit :-D They slide over the sentiment and are greatly paired with the border (that I slightly trimmed) and the hibiscus die.

Copic used:
Skin (E000-00-21-11-13-04, RV42)
Hair (T10-9-7, RV29-25-23)
Clothing (BG18-13, RV29-23)
Flower (RV29-25-23-21)
Coconut drink (E59-57-35)

I hope you liked the inspiration for this kit so far! Make sure you subscribe to the Club La-La Land Crafts right now, so you won't miss any more editions!

I Am Roses: Cupcake Anya!

Hi, all!

I have a very colorful and sweet card to show you today, using the fabulous flowers from I Am Roses! I was in dear need of something cheery and fun the other day when scrapping with friends, so I decided to use the adorable Cupcake Anya from The Greeting Farm, along with cupcake patterned papers from Crate Paper.

But the masterpiece is definitely that gorgeous mint green flower! Loooooook! Precious!

And yellow is always useful to call in happiness ;-)

Like it?

These are the flowers from I Am Roses that I used:
R2-401 Mini bright yellow flowers
SP1-48 Yellow spray
G1-607 small curly paper flowers
SPC1-15 Crochet White flower spray
R77-166 Mint Green rose

Thank you for stopping by!

Stamping Bella: Uptown Zodiac Girl Gemini

Hello, all!

Today's project is pretty special to me and I'm very happy to be able to show it to you with a video! As soon as I saw the Zodiac release from Stamping Bella, I knew there would be SO MANY possibilities with these sets! Yes, they are fun for birthdays, but you can also mix them with different backgrounds, thank you cards, etc!

And that's what I wanted to show you concretly with today's project using the Uptown Zodiac Girl Gemini stamp set. I had on my mind to simply colour the girls differently, but then I thought why not give them totally different personalities aswell!

So, I first started by stamping the girls and coloured them in my usual skin and hair combos with Copic markers (list below).

Copic markers used:
Skin (E04-13-11-21-00, RV42)
Hair (E41-42-43-44-47-49)
Dresses (BG49-45-34-32, RV29-25-23, BV29-25)
Flowers (YG23, Y18)

Then, I fussy cut them with sharp scissors, but I REALLY insist, guys, just get the matching Cut-It-Out and save yourself some time! Next step was to simply layer a few pieces of pattern paper and add the gorgeous stamped image on the A2 cardbase along with the papers.

Watch the video here or on my Youtube channel in HD :-)

Nothing fancy, but a big pop of colours! I hope you liked it :-)

The Greeting Farm: Rockstar Anya for Stamping Autism Awareness Blog Hop!

Hello! Me, again!

Do I look like a busy bee? No way, lol! This post is all about awesomeness because The Greeting Farm is an official sponsor for the Stamping Autism Awareness Blog Hop organized by Veronica Zalis! I love how the crafting community can get together and help a significative cause, which I'm super proud to take part of. As an ESL teacher, I'm very close to this situation and I try to stay as informed as I can to be a better support for all my students.

And in this line of thinking, I decided to create a simple, yet elegant card with the newest Rockstar Anya 2 stamp set because everyone deserves to know how they ROCK! I first started by stamping her onto some Cryogen White cardstock, and then coloured her with my Copic markers (list below). I then fussy cut her with sharp scissors, stacked her with foam tabs, and added her directly in the center of a regular white A2 cardbase (4¼"x5½"). I framed her with a sheet of pattern paper from Crate Paper that was die cut with a stitched rectangle die from Lawn Fawn, and then die cut again with an oval die to create a window. I finished by stamping the bold black sentiment right on top of the character and decided that she didn't need anything else; simple is good.

Copic used:
Skin (E000-00-21-11-13-04, RV42)
Hair (E44-47-49)
Clothing (B14-16-18, R24-27-29, C5-7-9, YG21-23-25, W1-3-5)

I hope you have become inspired by this amazing blog hop for Stamping Autism Awareness and that you will be kind to everyone around you :-) Oh and also, make sure to hop around and leave comments, so that you can win prizes for the amazing sponsors :-)

La-La Land Crafts: Flowers inspiration!

Good morning, all!

Just wanted to stop by and share another fun inspiration project for La-La Land Crafts, because it's Monday, yay! I used the gorgeous Hello There Marci with a no-line colouring technique and I'm more than proud of the result.

She is paired with two awesome flamingos that I intertwined together; how cuter can they get?! There is also a great bunch of amazing dies on there, such as the deco panel, a stitched tag, a stiched bow and the cameo frames, all made with a gorgeous collection from Crate Paper. I completed the project with some sweet flowers from I Am Roses and white Nuvo Drops from Tonic Studios.

Copic used:
Skin (E04-13-11-21-00-000, R20)
Hair (E44-47-49)
Clothing and accessories (C3-5-7-9, V01-04-05-06-09, YG23-25, W3-5-7-9)

I Am Roses: March challenge, Anything Goes!

Hello everyone!

I am back to share with you some inspiration for the new challenge at I Am Roses that calls for Anything Goes. Seriously, guys, all you need to enter this challenge is to use your flowers. And if you are like me... well... stop hoarding them, eheh! I make it a personal challenge to use more and more of them, especially on mini-albums and altered items.

On today's project, I used a bunch of colorful flowers that would match my pattern paper from Crate Paper perfectly, along with a now-retired image from LDRS Creative and Nuvo Drops. Don't you just love these Spring hues?!

La-La Land Crafts : Black and white inspiration and a GREAT news!

Hello, friends!

I'm super excited to share that after a full year away from the La-La Land Crafts design team, I'm now back home and super thrilled to (hopefully) inspire you with more videos and projects! So be prepared to see lots, every Monday!

And for this first post, I decided to do something a bit special with Heart Hands Molli for the Black and White theme at La-La Land Crafts. The entire card is B&W :-D

I used various dies as well, because they cut like butter and are always fun to pop onto any kind of projects: Nested Frames Large, Nested Frames Small , Vintage Phone, Deco Corner, Hello Tag, Open Leaf Flourish.

Copic used:

Skin, Hair, Clothing (N0-2-4-6-8)

The Greeting Farm: New release Day 2, Pretty Kitties!

Hi, everyone!

So, how did you like the brand new puppy set from yesterday's feature at The Greeting Farm? Fun, right? And we are continuing with the cuteness wave with today's set called Pretty Kitties! They're just too adorable!

Since I couldn't help myself and choose between the gorgeous characters from this amazing set, I simply went ahead and coloured them all onto Cryogen White cardstock with my Copic markers! They actually make a really nice catlovers wagon, eheh.

And remember, all sets will be available for purchase on Thursday, February 15th!

The Greeting Farm: a BIG mini-album with lots of flowers from I Am Roses!

Hey, all!
Stephanie with you today for my first official permanent DT post with The Greeting Farm! Of course, I was never far far away, but I'm so excited to share with you my passion *ahem obsession* for TGF :-)

And the project I'm showing you today is nowhere near small... I mean, we were all completely mad with the Mad Hatter exclusive kit, right?! I know, I know, it's not available any more, but you could be on a waiting list and get first dibbs when rereleased! Just contact Marie through the store site and she'll happily write your name down! Which brings me to say that whenever you receive news of a preorder for a special kit, don't think twice and GET IT! Lesson learned :-P

I couldn't help it, when I first saw this kit a few months ago, I went completely crazy and had to do something special with it, Alice in Wonderland being one of my favourite tales of all times. I just love how whimsical the characters look with their hats and fancy outfits. And since I wanted to use them all into one project, I went with a mini-album concept that folds and unfolds panels, creating little "scenes" for each one. It closes with a very large ribbon, so that there'd be "space" for every scene to have a bit of dimension.

Isn't it colourful enough? I find it so cheery! I stamped all the images with pale ink, so that once coloured with my Copic markers, it would look like a no-line colouring, adding a soft look effect to the whole thing.

Another section...

Some inked panels matching the girls' hair!

And last but not least, some elements from the stamp kit were also used to create my own pattern paper, like the tea pot and cups, or sentiments.  Of course, I added some gorgeous flowers from I Am Roses, which are all in multiple tones depending on the panels:

the medium roses, the little S10 flowers, curly roses, carnations, cherry blossoms

I hope you like this kind of projects, as I intend to do more on videos in future posts!

I Am Roses: First challenge of 2018!

Hey, all!

If you're here for the I Am Roses challenge, then you're at the right place! If not, just scroll down ;-)

We are looking at another awesome year of creativity with the gorgeous flowers at I Am Roses and I'm thrilled to continue my term with them! So, as always, the 15th of each month is when we launch a new challenge and this month is ANYTHING GOES!

I wanted to vary a bit this time and paired the lovely hues with a collection by Crate Paper that really brought them out! I also used a Mad Hatter stamp from The Greeting Farm, an LDRS Creative die-cut and some nuvo drops by Tonic Studios.

I challenged myself into doing something out of my comfort zone once in a while, but taking pictures is already not easy, now imagine trying to get a good shot at this card, eheh! TG it'll make someone happy :-P

Now, as always, make sure to hop on the I Am Roses challenge blog to add your beautiful creations and show us what you've made with these beauties!

LDRS Creative: Sweet treats!

Hello everyone!
I'm super excited to show you this card, as it's one of my very favourites from the latest release here at LDRS Creative.
I started by stamping one of the cute piggies from the Sweet Treats - Critter Stamps & Dies and coloured it with markers to get him ready for die-cutting the silhouette with the matching dies in the same set! I wanted him to hold a cupcake so that it would turn into a birthday card, but you could decide to add pretty much all of the amazing accessories in there.
Notice something? I stamped not one, but three sentiments, oh yes! They all fit perfectly together, so why restrain yourself? And they're stacked on top of two layers of die-cuts from the Fancy Squares & Little Things Die Set to make things even better.

Here's a close shot so that you can see how much dimension there is on this card...

So hurry up and order your Sweet Treats set if you haven't done so already, because it's definitely a must-have!
