La-La Land Crafts: 3D item inspiration, with a Christmas twist!

Here's an altered gift box I did using Santa's Helper Baby Marci, Build-a-House,  Christmas Lights, Nested Frames Small, Nested Frames Large.

La-La Land Crafts: Using the new release, Jolly Elves!

Hello, all!

I have another sweet project to share with you using the La-La Land Crafts new release that hit the store two weeks ago, already! Time to get cracking on those Christmas cards, right?

Here's my card a whole bunch of new stuff in store! First, I combined both the Jolly Elves and No Peeking stamp sets. Then, I completed the project with a few dies: Christmas Lights, Filigree Candy Cane, Reveal Doors, Filigree Christmas Tree. Not to forget the brand new Building Blocks Layering Stencils!

La-La Land Crafts: Using the new release!

Hey guys!

I'll be traveling all week, so I thought I'd schedule a few posts to keep you all inspired :-) And let's start this with La-La Land Crafts' latest release, which is all about Christmas!

I used the new Jolly Elves stamp set, along with dies that complete it perfectly: Scroll banner, Build-a-House, Gingerbread House Add-On.

It is SO easy to build that gingerbread house, you ought to give it a try!

La-La Land Crafts: Sand, Surf, Sun!

Hello, all!

I'm getting back to my regular schedule after a nice, long vacation, time to get back to reality, they say! So here's my card for Inspiration Monday at La-La Land Crafts using the Stay cool clear stamp set for our new theme, Sand-Surf-Sun!

Don't you like how colourful it turns out, thanks to the waves stencil?!

La-La Land Crafts: Thursday tutorial, mermaid background!

Hey everyone!

I quickly want to show you how to create a perfect water background for the lovely mermaids that hit the store at La-La Land Crafts!

Here are the simple steps:

You will need three shades of inks, no matter the brand, as long as they blend together and can react a bit to water (if not, just splatter some paint!).

Apply the lightest colour first to the top of the panel. Sunshine is always closer to the surface!

Then, blend in your mid-tone ink. Working in small circles usually helps, overlapping layers!

Finish with the darkest ink at the bottom of the panel. No sun, all shades!

Sprinkle some water if your ink is reactive, or paint.

Dab excess with a towel, and voilà! Mermaid background it is!

Last step was to create the waves with the negative from the Ropes die. Simple as this!

I completed the project by adding Mermaid Baby Marci all coloured up and a few pals from the Make A Splash set and Jaws Because. Of course, she wouldn't be that sweet without the diecuts: Fishing net, Heart Anchor, Sea Critters,  Sea Shells.

I hope this will encourage you to try a watery scene for the gorgeous Mermaid Princess Marci, Sitting Mermaid Baby Marci and Sassy Mermaid Molli in store!

La-La Land Crafts: Summer Boardwalk!

Good morning!

It's a new Monday, so that means new inspiration for La-La Land Crafts! Today is all about Summer Boardwalks, and to me, this means getting a bit dressed up and walking along the shops, eating on the terrasses, etc. So of course, Vacation Luka was the perfect choice for this card!

There's a new inspiration Monday at La-La Land Crafts and this week, it's all about mermaids! Yay!

I decided to use multiple stamps from the latest release: Sitting Mermaid Baby Marci, Jaws Because, Stay Cool. Now, can you spot the new dies aswell? ;-)
