I Am Roses: New challenge, You are the sunshine of my life!

Hello, all!

Today is all about the new Anything Goes challenge at I Am Roses! If you have never played with these gorgeous flowers yet, well now is your chance!
I selected an old stamp set that I had in my stash from LDRS Creative to create a very heavily layered card for the challenge using some Prima papers that would coordinate well with my chosen flowers from I Am Roses.

I just love how you can always choose the right flower, mixing it with others, and come up with a beautiful result!

So make sure to participate in our Anything Goes challenge!

I Am Roses: Be a mermaid surrounded with flowers

Hello everyone!

I'm back with a card featuring a lot of my favourite products, starting with gorgeous flowers from I Am Roses. There's a lot of great sales right now in store, so you should totally take advantage of them, just sayin' ;-)

I used some S3 Aqua & Turquoise Cherry Blossom, a few mini S11 pink paper flowers, one white 1½" rose, one pink daisy and one hot pink mini lily paper flower. They all match beautifully the stamp from The Greeting Farm that I chose to ink with a pale colour in order to get a no-line colouring look with my Copic markers. And that fancy pattern paper, too!

Make sure to enter the Anything goes challenge that just went up two days ago for a chance to win some vouchers!

I Am Roses: March challenge!

Hi guys!

I'm quickly posting this card so that you all know that the new I Am Roses challenge is up! And guess what...as always, it's ANYTHING GOES! So show us your love of flowers for a chance to win a $50 voucher in store, wow!

Here's my card featuring some oldie but goldie papers from Prima Marketing, a few chipboard and flair from Lime Citron, and a TGF stamp. Hope you like it!

LDRS Creative: Show Stopper

Good morning everyone!

I have a folding card featuring the amazing Show Stopper from the All Dressed Up line at LDRS Creative to show you today.

She was stamped in pale ink to get a no-line colouring look with Copic markers and then die-cut with the Fancy Rectangles & Layers Die Set. I love how each set from the Creative Basics line has its half section. I thought it would look great with the Peaceful Dove Edge slightly outlined with two layers of die-cuts.

Here's the interior with the negative panel used for the Peaceful Dove Edge on the cover of the cardbase and a Fancy Squares & Little Things Die-cut.

And while we're at it...the negative of the Fancy Square was used for the back of the card. It's almost like a mini-album!
As you can see, I also used some gorgeous flowers from I Am Roses:
Make sure to look at what's coming on their website!

Oh and while I'm at it, I'm entering this card in the February challenge over at Accent Scrapbooking inspired by their moodboard and metallic flair.

La-La Land Crafts: Shimmer and shine!

Hello everyone!

Today's post is all about shiny things at La-La Land Crafts!

You can't really see the shine on the pictures, but I used a few of my favourite products on there to sparkle it; Stickles, Zig, Sakura Gel roll, etc!

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps : Twine it up!

Hey guys!

The new challenge at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps is called Twine it up, so I decided to play and to give it a twist with a Christmas theme, of course ;-) This image is called Carly Cupcakes by Annie Rodrigue and she was released just last week, so if you didn't scoop her up at this time, now is your chance!

I paired my image with die-cuts from LDRS Creative, some Christmas papers and twine from Prima Marketing, and of course, a lovely flair from Lime Citron.

Badges 210. Sapin - customisable

LDRS Creative : Mixed media cover tutorial

Hello there!
I'm back to share a mixed media album I've been working on with LDRS Creative for my cruise project last May! At first, I really wanted to challenge myself with a sentiment-only project, and then it became something else completely when I tried it in a mixed media way. I'll try to walk you through the steps of making the cover of the mini-album, where you can see a few sentiments from the Just Because set. I selected them because it will be filled with memories from my friend and I when completed.
SO, the first step is to cut all your chipboard sheets to 7"x5" or whatever size you'd like, the number of sheets depending on your purpose for this album. I thought this one would fit perfectly with pictures to commemorate a longtime friendship! After that, punch two holes on the left side. Then, with a stencil and a knife, add some modeling paste to create the background.
Don't hesitate to scrap down a few spots, to remove the "perfectly well-done" look ;-) This is mixed media!
Next, glue a few embellishments from your stash. Don't mind the colour and don't hesitate in cropping them with your scissors. I even used a plastic wheel from my adhesive gun, eheh! Remember that heavy objets will need stronger adhesive.
Cover everything with gesso and let dry.
When everything is completely dried, mist away with spray colours!
While drying once again, stamp your sentiments on white cardstock. Then, take out some black ink with a sponge dauber and ink the edges.
You can also ink the edges of your chipboard panel when completely dried.
Last step is to bind all panels with some ribbons...
...and to tie a big bow!
And the final result! Now all you need is to complete the other pages and give it to a loved one :-)

The Greeting Farm : Mad hatter!

Hello everyone!

While I'm getting ready to go see a wonderful show tonight, I thought I'd show you this card, just because! It features the super-duper cute Mad Hatter girl from a kit at The Greeting Farm.

I paired her with luscious papers from BoBunny, a lovely doily die-cut from Prima Marketing, and last but not least, flowers from I Am Roses. Like it? :-)

I am also entering it for my 2nd chance at the Friendship monthly challenge HERE on the TGF blog and for the August challenge at I Am Roses :)

La-La Land Crafts : Anything goes inspiration!

Hello crafty peeps!

I'm heading to school in order to do a test this morning, but while I'm on the road, I thought I'd let you in on the gorgeous inspiration "Anything goes"post  at La-La Land Crafts. I decided to use the new winter products that were released a few weeks ago. You might already recognize Winter Coat Paper Doll Marci, and her seasonal dies : Lamp post (a great favorite of mine!), winter flowers, large snowflake 1, stitched circles, double stitched squares, and pierced scalloped circles.

I paired them with scraps of papers from the Echo Park winter pad (forgot the name, oops!), a few dew drops from the Robin's nest and some twine from Prima Marketing.

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps : Special occasion!

Hello, all!

Here's a short and sweet card for the new Special Occasion challenge over at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! The theme is to celebrate anything, really, so I thought I'd use the gorgeous dressy gal from the Let's Celebrate clear set and let the occasion be ruled on its own, ahah! She's so formal, we could easily get her to her prom, an engagement party, or even a wedding. What do you think?

Be sure to keep an eye out for this card in my Etsy store!

Hey everyone!

I just wanted to drop by and tell you to make sure to subscribe to The Greeting Farm's newsletter, as they feature tips and lots of information every week! For example, these are two cards that were featured for some useful tips!

The first card was all about Starry Anya and the importance of grounding your images!

and this one using the Lucky Dogs set with watercolouring and matching your cardstock to save on both time and patterned papers!

Make sure to subscribe, as you would certainly bite your tongue if you missed anything! Well, I know I'd do it, eheh!

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps : Summer is on!

Hi everyone!

How is it going? Have you been feeling the new hot weather as much as I did this week? I thought it would be very wise to post my summer card for the Kraftin' Kimmie summer challenge that's being launched today, using the beach babe from the A Bit Smart Assy 2 set. Don't you think? ;-)

I used some Prima papers and flowers, plus two wooden shells from Kaisercraft. Like it? Make sure to go see what my teammates did on the same theme, too!

Woot woot, it's blog hop time for the new release at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! All the sets are now available in store and you should run while you can to get them ALL!!

I've used the other mermaid from Emilie's designs called Mermaid Friends, and frame the scene with a few sentiments :-)

Make sure to look at my teammates' creation on the KKS blog :)

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps : New release day 2, Keep swimming!

Good morning!

Today's feature at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps is all about Cheryl's kids in a sweet Keep Swimming set! I decided to stamp them both in Memento Desert Sand ink and after colouring them with Copics, I stenciled around them, so that Lulu's palms would be out of the frame.

Make sure to look at my teammates' creation on the KKS blog :)
