LDRS Creative : North Pole

Hello there!
I'm with you today to share a scene entirely made with the new North Pole stamp set here at LDRS Creative. Don't you adore this new line of little critters?! This brings cuteness to a whole other level, seriously.
As I was masking and stamping them, the scene came alive on its own and I couldn't be happier with the result. This card is the perfect example of how clean and simple the Holidays can be, starting with sending a little love to your relatives and friends.

Make sure to get yours today to whip up some Christmas and Winter cards in no time!

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps : Kraft inspiration!

Hello everyone!

I'm playing with Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps and Ah! La Carte today to bring you a very merry Christmas card on kraft!

This card was super simple to put together, seriously. Just take out your Dear Santa stamp set, stamp it with pale ink (Desert Sand from Memento works just fine!) and colour with your Copic markers. Once that is done, die-cut the panel (I used one of my favourite die set at the moment from Avery Elle, Wonky stitched rectangle) and stack on your kraft cardbase with some 3d foam tape. Last step is to add a thin layer of stickles from Ranger and a few enamel dots here and there. Ta-dam!

La-La Land Crafts : Spooktacular!

Good morning in La-La Land, friends!

As I'm getting ready to start my last day of internship (such an AMAZING experience!!!), I thought I'd share this spooky card for La-La Land Crafts. Because as always, Friday means La-La inspiration! I went a little different with this one, focusing more on masking and colouring than creating a full scene like usual. The stamps I used are : Witch Marci, Baby Pumpkin Luka and Baby Pumpkin Marci.

Here's the Copic list:

Skin (E000-00-21-11-13-04, R20)
Hair (E13-15-18)
Clothing (YG21-23-25-97-99, E30-31-33-35-70-71-74-77-79, W1-3-5-7-9, V000-01-04-06-09, Y21-23-26-28, YR15-68-27)

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps : Christmas love with Holiday Sissy!

Good morning crafty friends!

I have a super fun card to show you today for Kraftin' Kimmie stamps, starring the lovely Holiday Sissy from the September release. I really identify myself to this stamp, she seems SO happy to be decorating the whole house for Christmas :-D

The card was kept simple, as I stamped my image with Memento ink and coloured it with Copic markers, then die-cut it with one of my favourite die set called Fancy Rectangles and layers at LDRS Creative. I popped everything on a cardbase, added a few glitter embellies, and voilà!

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps : Blog hop with Cocoa Cozy!

Good morning!

Okay lovelies, it's that time again where you can scoop all the new stamp sets at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! I think the inspiration from the team through out the week and at the party last night was simply fantabulous, and gauging from your lovely comments, you did, too!

So, here's my card for the blog hop that was created just for YOU. I used one of Annie's sets called Cocoa Cozy. She was stamped with pale ink for a no-line colouring look, and simply added to a black cardbase with foam adhesive. I also stamped one of the cute sentiments onto a stack of tags that I created with a die set by LDRS Creative, because I love them so much! Simple and fun!

Enjoy the hop :-)

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps : New release day 5, Got Snow?

Hiyahhhhh! It's Saaaaturday!

Okay, enough with the crazy stuff, ahah! It's the weekend and I'm SO happy to show you this card, as it features one of Annie's sets at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps, but also, because it's such a fun thing to create snow domes!

Plus, the sentiments were all super cute, so instead of going with a fully embellished card, I decided to use ALL the sentiments onto one card.

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps : New release day 2, May the miracle...

Good morning and happy hump day!

Our second release at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps is all about nativity sentiments designed once again by my friend Becky, woot woot! I paired this gorgeous sentiment with two dies from LDRS Creative and a few dew drops from the Robin's Nest. When it comes to greetings, I'm always more of a clean and simple gal :-)

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps : Fancy Flamingos!

Hi krafty friends!

Today I'm showing you this card for Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps and their glitter challenge! I chose to use the amazing Fancy Flamingos set from my friend Becky, because they're just too adorable! Too bad you can't see the shimmer on the picture, but at least there are sequins to show off, too ;-)

Another view...see the dimension?!

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps : Inspiration on how to use more than one stamp!

Hi Krafty friends!

I wanted to demistify the use of multiple stamps from a same set and share how to create a scene with them.

You don't need anything special, just a stamping block and some ink! I would suggest to use an acrylic one, as it's easier for placement when you see through.

On this card, I used the A Purr-fect Day stamp set and stamped several accessories to create the scene. First, let's all agree that the designers do a fantastic job at creathing the sets, because every single item matches the whole thing. You don't even have to mask them!

As you can see, I used two cats, the thinking bubble, the aquarium and the wool ball.

On this one, I used the male gnome, the squirrel, the bushes, the clover, the mushrooms and the snail several times, along with the lady gnome from the Whimsical Gnomes set. I stamped everything on a large panel and cut it to size (4"x6") when finished so that it would look nice on the edges.

How about a classic touch? Black on white with every jewel from the Let Your Light Shine set. I stamped the whole panel, and then die cut through it, so we could see the sentiment that was stamped inside. Think about it; with this small trick, you can reuse the diecut piece for a second card!

Black and white can be classic, or trendy when seen through a piece of vellum, like this Butterfly Dreams card!

Just like the Whimsical Gnomes card, I stamped every image and resized the Buds and Bloms stamp set panel for a different look.

And a great favourite of mine with the Oceans of love set; everything is stamped with black ink, but coloured in monochromatic tones on the outside of the die-cut!

So, do you feel like you can tackle more than one stamp on a single card, now? ;-)

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps : Black is black!

Good morning!

I'm up with a very scaaaaaary card today for Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps

Remember Vanessa Vampire, frm the Halloween release this summer? Well, I stamped her with some Desert Sand Memento ink on Cryogen White cardstock to get a no-line look with my Copic markers, and then cut the panel to fit my cardbase (also white). All she needed next was to receive a fabby sentiment from the stamp set with Archival Black ink from Ranger, and voilà!

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps : Serena Sparkles is going totally CAS!

Goooooooood morning!

I'm hosting the new challenge over at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps and I thought I would go easy on you, with a Clean and Simple theme! I used the lovely mermaid Serena Sparkles, who is now back in stock (woohoo!). To achieve this look, just stamp her in your favourite light ink (mine is Desert Sand from Memento), colour her with your markers, add some itty bitty flowers on the coral rock, and stack the coloured piece on a piece of pattern paper that covers the entire shape of your card. Voilà!

Psssssst! Can you spot the same colours from my Ah! La Carte kit that was used up to the very last bit? Ooooooh, yes ;-)

p.s. I'm also entering this card as my second entry for the "Anything goes" Wednesday challenge at Simon Says Stamp :-)

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps : Let your light shine!

Hey everyone!

I'm thrilled to host this Anything goes challenge on the Kraftin' Kimmie stamps blog! As I'm trying to do more and more CAS (clean and simple) cards, I've also decided to challenge myself using watercolouring in multiple ways. Today's card is a great example of how versatile your stamps can be from one technique to another! I used two sets from my awesome friend Becky, the flowers coming from the Buds & Blooms set, while the gorgeous sentiment is from the Let Your Light Shine set. Keep your eyes open for more watercolouring tutorial on the KKS blog soon ;-)

p.s. I'm also entering this card for the "It's Hip to be Square!" Wednesday challenge at Simon Says Stamp :-)

Simon Says Stamp : Make for the border challenge!

Hello everyone!

I had a few kitty commissioned cards to make and while they're all heavily embellished, I was feeling for one of my own to be all clean and simple. So I fussy cut one of the Cuddly Critters designed by Kristina Werner for Simon Says Stamp that I had watercoloured with my Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers during the Daily Marker challenged hosted by Kathy Rac.

I was inspired by the sketch at CAS(E) this Sketch #186 and used a border die from LDRS Creative for the Simon says: Wednesday blog, so that I could enter both challenges. Hope you like my card!

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps : New release blog hop!

Hello, hello!

It's time, it's time, it's time! Okay, enough with the repetition, lol. We had an amazing party last night in the Krafty friends group on Facebook, at the end of which the entire release was made available. Sooooooo, time to shop!

As you all know by now, I truly adore my friend Becky's sets, and this one is no exception! I created a little halloweeny scene  with the Harvest Blessings set by stamping the pumpkin and cat first, and then masking them with some masking paper from Simon Says Stamp. Inkadinkado also has a great one! Then, I stamped the different pumpkins on each side of the primary image, added the bats and the sentiment. All images were done with Memento Ink Tuxedo black for Copic colouring, but the sentiment and "facial features", in Ranger Archival black (the blackest ink I found on the market!).

The set:

Now, time to hop!

Now, for my card, I kept it very simply with Valentina Vampire stamped on Cryogen White cardstock and coloured in a no-line scheme with my Copic markers. After that, I used a die from the new release at LDRS Creative to frame my image and added a sentiment on top of it.

The rest was a simple kraft cardbase with scraps from an old Teresa Collins halloween pad and a flair from Accent Scrapbooking. Hope you like it!

LDRS Creative - Looking gorgeous

Hello everyone!
Stephanie with you once again to share a beauty called Looking Gorgeous from the All Dressed Up line at LDRS Creative. Cardmaking really is easy when you have such good products to play with!
I used all nine stamps from the set on this card and still went clean and simple, wow! All you have to do in order to create the same look is to stamp them onto a rectangle piece of colouring cardstock, add some colours with your favourite medium, fold a cardbase in two, cut a single panel of patterned paper, add foam adhesive behind your image, and you're done!
I hope you will give her a try, too!

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps : Dolly Diver for a birthday card!

Good morning krafty friends!

Here's my card featuring the Dolly Diver stamp set in a very CAS way, for the new Birthday inspiration challenge on the main blog. I created it with a monthly kit by Ah!La Carte, my amazing local store in Quebec. Don't you find the little dots so cute? And that wordy background, wow!

My image was stamped with Memento ink on Cryogen White cardstock, then coloured with Copic markers and die-cut with a La-La Land Stitched Elements oval. Then, I made a cardbase with various cardstocks, stapled some twine, and added my image with 3D foam adhesive.

Voilà! I hope you will buy this card in my Etsy shop (only $4 CAD!) and participate in our challenge :)
