SugarPea Designs: Baby Girl Blog Hop!

Good morning everyone!

We have a surprise Blog Hop edition for onr of our very own crafters at SugarPea Designs, miss Lesley Croghan! Her friends decided to organize her an online baby shower and we couldn't be more thrilled to participate!

Here's my card using the lovely Tons of Fun (yeah, I know, I've been using him/her A LOT, lol!). I coloured it with Copic markers on Cryogen White paper and added a whimsical touch by stamping the bubble circle from the Funky Wreath – Christmas on top of it with Archival Ink. Then, I die-cut the whole thing with the the SugarCuts – Zig Zag Stitched Circles and added two layers to make sure that it would pop!

I also stamped a sentiment (from the same Tons of Fun set) and die-cut it with the SugarCuts – Stitched Flags. Now the last step was to create the cardbase with kraft cardstock and some baby girl papers from Carta Bella, add a few ribbons, paper straws, and some bits of flowers from I Am Roses.

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps : New release day 3, Polar Bears!

Hello everyone! Happy hump day!

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps : New release day 3, Autumn Wishes!

Hello again and welcome back to Day THREE of our

August Krafty Peeks!!

Have you been enjoying the new creations so far? Well, we're only half way done! We have so many more fun fall designs!

Today's peeks features a sweet new fall set by artist, Cheryl Grant! Of course we've got our three fave kiddos, Lexi, Lucas and Lulu and they're having lots of fun at the fall fair! There's apples, cotton candy and furry friends!

The set has four main images, a fabulous banner that you can stamp anything you want in....OR hand letter a special sign PLUS five fabulous sentiments!

It's called AUTUMN WISHES!

Now, here's my card featuring the lovely Lulu with a cart of apples. Once again, I went simple and used a few scraps of papers from my stash to complete it. Never throw away your negative die-cuts, you can reuse them just like this!

LDRS Creative - All dolled up

Good morning everyone!

Once again I played with the amazing Dollhouse line from LDRS Creative, because I just can't get enough of it! The dies I used are the Dewdrop border, the Fluttered Tulip Bodice and I stamped the Best Friend sentiment in a die-cut from the Darling Square die set.

One tip that I can give you when cardmaking, is to select a few dies and use them through the same pattern paper, in order to get a slight touch of colour that is appearing here and there. That way, you're not overwhelming the sketch, and everything matches perfectly. Useful? I think so!

Another thing is to leave a large piece of white cardstock surrounding your image if you want to draw focus on it. No matter how much stuff you will pile, if you leave enough "blank", the eyes will automatically be drawn to it. Eeeeeeasy peasy :-)

La-La Land Crafts : Go Fishing Luka for a masculine card!

Okay, I'm back!

This second card was created for the new masculine theme challenge over at La-La Land Crafts!
Mister Go Fishing Luka seemed like a perfect match for this Father's Day and I wanted to pair him with two sets of dies; Stitched Nested Circles and Picket Fence. Isn't he just perfect?!
