The Greeting Farm: First challenge of the year, Happy Winter!

I'm slowly managing everything to be ready for CHA and the year to come (because yeah, organising 101 is my resolution!!) and I saw that the very first challenge of 2017 at The Greeting Farm is ANYTHING GOES! Of course, I had to enter, right!

I had submitted these to a magazine a while ago; they are gift cards holders turned into cards, featuring the Happy Winter stamp set. Perfect timing!

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps : My last post as a Krafty girl!

Hello, hello!

Well, today is the day...my last post as a Krafty Girl for Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps. I've been a huge fan since day 1 and always wanted to try out for the *dream team*. I was sooooooo happy when I made it! I got to meet incredibly awesome crafters, hosted a few online crops and even did all the road to Kimmie's place for an amazing week-end at some point.

But as in everything, all good things must come to an end with my returning to school full time (for two years now, wow, that was fast!) and having to manage my job and other crafty responsabilities, eheh. I feel like the team is doing such a great job and I'm slowly changing my way of creating and promoting, too ;-)

So keep your eyes open because there will be new opportunities, for sure! ;-)

And on that note, here's my last card as a krafty girl to inspire you to play in this week's challenge about WINTER! I used the super cute Eskimo Pal along with gorgeous Echo Park papers and a lot of La-La Land Crafts dies :-) Hope you like it!

SugarPea Designs: Foxy Friend!

Hi everyone!

I'm back as a guest designer today for another fun inspiration post at SugarPea Designs. This time around, I thought I'd keep things simple as this sketch is almost exactly the same that I created with last week's card, but turned a bit differently with fishtails and such.

So, basically, I created a cardbase and layered lots of pieces of patterned papers that were just lying on my craft desk. I swear, sometimes, things don't need to be complicated at all! I stamped the cutie pie from the Foxy Friend stamp set (don't forget a matching pair of sentiments, too!) with pale ink and coloured him with Copic markers for a no-line colouring look. Voilà! Nothing more than that!

LDRS Creative - Sweet like cake

Hello everyone!

I'm on the LDRS Creative inspiration blog today for a super SWEET project, indeed. It's no surprise the CandiBean line is so popular when you look at the little cuties available in store! So, for today, I chose to use the Sweet Like Cake image, paired with the Best Friends sentiment set and the Darling Square die set.

I first stamped the image with black ink on cardstock and coloured it with Copic markers. Her hat is so fluffy, and that cake, yummy-licious! When that was done, I took out the smallest of the Darling Square die and stenciled the inside of it with a light pencil. I cut it out with a pair of sharp scissors and outlined the edges with a black marker for a more finishing touch. The same technique was used for the outside of the die on teal cardstock, while I used the regular shape of the die on patterned paper.

After that, I created the cardbase by folding into a piece of 5½"x11" black cardstock and layered a few sheets of teal cardstock with patterned papers to give more dimension. I really like how the sentiment pops out when stamped and placed on several layers of cardstock, too. I'm telling you, if you don't have your Best Friends sentiment set yet, go and get it, it so much fun to play with!

When you have such amazing products, you really don't need much to complete a stunning project, here's the proof! Now, let's see what you make with this stamp and make sure to show us on the Facebook group

Premier défi pour moi chez Lime Citron, et c'est sur le thème de l'automne que j'ai décidé d'interpréter les belles couleurs proposées par l'équipe sur le blog ICI.

J'en ai aussi profité pour utiliser deux ensembles d'étampes de LDRS Creative pour compléter le tout sur des papiers d'Echo Park et accompagnés de petites fleurs toutes mignonnes de I Am Roses.

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps : New release day 5, Got Snow?

Hiyahhhhh! It's Saaaaturday!

Okay, enough with the crazy stuff, ahah! It's the weekend and I'm SO happy to show you this card, as it features one of Annie's sets at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps, but also, because it's such a fun thing to create snow domes!

Plus, the sentiments were all super cute, so instead of going with a fully embellished card, I decided to use ALL the sentiments onto one card.

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps : New release day 3, Cold Noses!

Hello there!

Today is another release for Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps, with this super sweet set called Cold Noses by Cheryl Alger! 

I first stamped her onto Cryogen White cardstock, then die cut with a tag by La-La Land Crafts and coloured with my beloved Copics. I added little bits of heated white Liquid Appliqué on her coat, and then completed with a few cork embellishments and stacked her on the cardbase with LOTS of layers.

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps : Make your own magic!

I was feeling a bit nostalgic with school starting again, so I wanted to create a card for the latest challenge at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps, using the theme MAGIC. So, of course, I was going to play with little Lulu from the "Make your own Magic" stamp set and turn her into a Walt Disney character ;-)

La-La Land Crafts : Anything goes inspiration!

Hello crafty peeps!

I'm heading to school in order to do a test this morning, but while I'm on the road, I thought I'd let you in on the gorgeous inspiration "Anything goes"post  at La-La Land Crafts. I decided to use the new winter products that were released a few weeks ago. You might already recognize Winter Coat Paper Doll Marci, and her seasonal dies : Lamp post (a great favorite of mine!), winter flowers, large snowflake 1, stitched circles, double stitched squares, and pierced scalloped circles.

I paired them with scraps of papers from the Echo Park winter pad (forgot the name, oops!), a few dew drops from the Robin's nest and some twine from Prima Marketing.

La-La Land Crafts : Strawberries and cream!

Hello, all!

Can you believe it's Friday, yet?! And Canada's day, woot woot! So, we are hosting a fabulous new inspiration post on the La-La Land blog called Strawberries and creammmm!

I used the darling Nautical Molli and whipped up a few dies to create this card in 10 minutes, no less! Who said simple cards had to be boring, right? She was really fun to colour up, and can be used for many occasions as well.

Mimosa Embellissements : Le soccer, pourquoi pas!

Bonjour!

Je suis sur le blogue de Mimosa aujourd'hui pour vous présenter une petite carte sympathique sur le sport ultime de l'été, le soccer. 

J'avais ce thème en tête depuis un bout de temps, et l'occasion s'est présentée d'elle-même avec cette jolie étampe numérique. Comme à l'habitude, j'ai pigé dans les kits d'ornements que j'adore; le ruban-crêpon et les sequins de Printemps 2016,  les boutons transparents d'Hiver 2016-neutre et les boutons à touche de rouge d'Hiver 2016-coloré.

La-La Land Crafts : Anything Christmas

Hi everyone! It's the last Friday before Christmas, oh my god!!!

So, of course, I had to present you a Christmas card using my favourite Cryogen White coluring cardstock with the gorgeous Christmas Molli from La-La Land Crafts. We have another lovely inspiration post at La-La Land Crafts and I'm very pleased with the way  miss Winter Princess Marci turned out in a no-line colouring. Notice that the card shape is slightly different from my usual style? Yep, still trying to find new tricks ;-) I still managed to get a few dies in there, since I loooooooooove them : Postage Stamps, Snowflake Flag Banner, Zigzag Trim Banner, Fancy Christmas Tree, Lattice Corner, Stitched Nested Circles (set of 7).

Une autre publication pour mon DT 100% québécois Mimosa cette semaine! Cette fois-ci, je vous présente une 2e création avec mon kit neutre, que j'ai utilisé jusqu'à la dernière miette sur trois cartes, la dernière étant à venir en décembre. J'ai eu beaucoup de plaisir à ajouter les ornements du kit à cette création, car tout s'agence si bien dès le départ!

Hey Farmers!

I can't believe it's already November, things are going way too fast lately! Well, to be honest, for the last year! So, for this month, both at Ah! La Carte and at the Farm, we decided to host a challenge regarding being thankful for something. I'm so happy to have two amazing pets in my life, and many of my friends feel the same, so I thought I'd use the Dollie with Kitty set for this card and a sentiment that says "Thank You for Being You", very appropriate in this situation, isn't it?
