The Greeting Farm: New release Blog Hop for January!

It’s the 15th, and that means the new JANUARY Stamps are NOW available for purchase in The Greeting Farm Store. Today, we released 3 new sets, Mini-Remix Balloons, Hogs, and This Week. All of the new stamps are perfect for your cards, journals/planners and so many awesome crafty projects! To celebrate we are having a BLOG HOP, where one lucky fan will take home all 3 sets!! Pretty awesome, right?

And for my project, I tried to combine both the cute gal (in three versions) of the This Week set AND the adorable balloons from the Mini-Remix Balloons set. I couldn't decide which I preferred, so hey, they look perfectly nice together!

Be sure to leave a comment on each designer’s blog, and then head back to The Greeting Farm Blog to let us know you completed the hop.

You have until Friday, January 19th at 12pm CST to leave your comments.
We will announce the random winner over the weekend.

Happy Hopping!

Recap of lost ones...

Hi guys!

I've started this tradition of publishing all the cards that haven't made it on Blogland in the past year, whether because Blogger acted up (yeah, happened a few times) or simply because I forgot to set up the post, AH! That way, it clears what is in draft mode and I can start fresh with the next year. Or at least, that's what I tell myself :-P

But hey, this year isn't too bad, only three projects that were lost and/or forgotten!

The first one is for Lime Citron, using some gorgeous circle stamps, a beautiful badge and French sentiment, paired with some My Mind's Eye papers, I Am Roses' flowers and a Saturated Canary stamp that was available at LDRS Creative a while ago.

I mean, hello dimension!!!

For Ah!La Carte, a gorgeous project I did using one of their card kits and the lovely stamp by The Greeting Farm.

For SugarPea Designs... I have a short and sweet project to share with you today, featuring the new Pucker Up stamp set that was released in June.

My amazing teammates have all been doing a fantastic job with this set and here I was in my craftroom, thinking how to make you guys see the upmost potential of it. And the light shone; using it into a masculine, yet completely sweet (pun intended ;-)) way.

So I first stamped the little tea bag from the stamp set here and there on a piece of Cryogen White cardstock so that I could colour them with my Copic markers. It doesn't matter where you place them, as I went on and die-cut a shape with the largest SugarCuts – Stitched Flags. You'll notice that I added some shadows in light grey tones on one side of each tea bag so that it would look more dimensional. It's a quick tip that goes a long way!

Once that was done, all I had to do was to fold a basic white cardbase in two and layer it with a patterned paper from the Happy Camper Patterned Paper Collection.

I also added a simple sentiment on a piece of white cardstock and popped it on top, with a few Nuvo drops. Hope you like it :-)

Lime Citron : Félicitations!

Bon vendredi!

Lawn Fawn: Baaah Humbug!

Hey guys!

Just a quick post to share the three cards that were published earlier in December with Making Cards magazine! I just loooooved these little sheep and couldn't be more excited to be doing a few projects with them, especially since they are so versatile. I saw them with a baby shower look on Instagram and thought it couldn't get any cuter!

Making Cards Magazine : Angel Voices from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

Hey guys!

I have a few minutes to share an exciting news, as I was published in the November issue of the amazing Making Cards magazine once again! This issue even has some of my colouring on the cover page, wow!! The Angel Voices stamp set from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps is used to feature the no-line colouring technique with alcohol markers (like Copics, Chameleons and Spectrum Noir), along with gold leafing the edges, using layers, etc.

Check them out with full instructions in a store near you!

Ah!

I literally fell in love with this set, because they are both the cutest.kids.ever!!! And those sentiments!! A very fun way to use the new KLEAR stamps is to bend them just a bit when applied on your acrylic block, like I did on my card. Gives movement, don't you think?

Here's the full set:

Little Darlings rubber stamps : It's a celebration!

Good morning everyone!

I'm here with you today to show you a layered card (my fave style!) with one of our Dollhouse stars, It's A Celebration! I really like how this card turned out, because when using monochromatic papers, you never know if the image will pop or get lost in the patterns. In this case, I think the balloons really attract the eyes and make it a funny greeting card.

You can also spot a Little Darlings exclusive die, the lovely view, in between the image and a doily.

Some close-ups..

She's coloured with Copic markers:
Skin (E000-00-21-11-13-04, R20)
Hair (E44-47-49)
Clothing (BG10-11-13-15, B000-01-02, RV25-29, W5-7-9)
Accessories (R35-46-59-89, RV21-23-25, B000-01-02, Y11-13-15-17)

The inside of the card with a Girlfriends sentiment...

And that's it!

La-La Land Crafts: A Sketch!

Little Darlings rubber stamps : Cutie Pie Diggin' It for Xmas in July!

Good morning everyone! Happy Christmas in July!

I'm here with you today to show you how a regular stamp can easily be turned into a full Christmas vibe! I was sure I had shown you this card, since it had been done wayyyyyyyy back, but hey, inspiration is always good, right?!

I used the Diggin' It gal from my all-time favourite line at Little Darlings, the Cutie Pies, and I stippled a glittery touch on her outfit with a gelly roll pen. Paired with christmas themed papers, she can easily be sent to someone who loves gardening, or a family living in a sunshine area all year long!

Some close-ups...

As you can see, this little cutie pie was coloured with Copic markers:
Skin (E000-00-21-11-13-04, R20)

Accessories (C0-1-3-5, E31-33-35, B01-02)
