Never published cards...

Hi guys!

As we're wrapping up 2016, I thought I'd take all the creations that were never published for XYZ reasons and jumble them up in a single post. So it's totally random, but...I mean....let's get organised for 2017! :-P

This is Priscilla from the Saturated Canary line at LDRS Creative. She always made me smile!

And another one featuring her way back in the days...I think my trimmer was dying on me at that time, eheh!

Spring Fawn from the same line was only available in the UK here:

Ah! La Carte : Inspiration badge

Bonjour, bonjour!

Bon week-end!

LDRS Creative - Parade

Good morning friends!
I'm back for another simple way to feature the amazing Parade stamp set from the Saturated Canary line at LDRS Creative. I also added a sentiment that says it all and is very versatile, You're the best part of my day, from the Best Friends sentiments set.

Want to hear my confession? I'm loving the clean and simple look of cards now more than ever, because it's FAST to create and it focuses on the few elements you displayed. When I first saw the Parade stamp set, I was so in love with it that there was no way I would hide the little details under a ton of embellishments, like I usually do. So, I basically stamped my image, coloured it, decided to frame it with cardstock, stacked it on the cardbase, added a sentiment, and voilà! How much simpler can it get? Oh well, I know, 1-1-1....maybe for a future project? ;-)

Here's the card:
Make sure to come back tomorrow for more inspiration!

p.s. I'm also entering this card as my second entry for the "Stamp it" Wednesday challenge at Simon Says Stamp :-)

LDRS Creative - We are thinking of you, Paris

Good morning everyone!

As I write this post, I'm feeling very sad, because of all the recent events that took place in Paris. I created this card weeks ago, planned for it to be posted today, and still, I wasn't sure whether to publish it or not. Let's just say that what was once a gorgeous symbol will always stay a cherished one, and the French people need some love more than ever. Therefore, I wanted to show and give them beauty, peace, in order to cope.

I used the Novel stamp from Saturated Canary, along with the Dewdrop Circle die on my card. See the way she's standing out of the circle? All you need is to stamp your image as usual (I'm using Cryogen White for Copic colouring), then with a pencil and a circle die, stencil around it. Colour it up, and then with your sharp scissors (I love my yellow Cutterbees!), carefully cut around the shape you just stenciled, including the parts that are out of the box. I always end up passing a black marker on the edges, as a finishing touch.

Don't forget to share in our Facebook group whatever you're up to with our amazing products, we love to see YOUR creations!

Little Darlings rubber stamps : Butterfly baby

Hey everyone!

How are you all feeling so far, being mid-week? With my going back-to-school for a second B.A., things are pretty intense, but I still find time to create with these gorgeous products! So, this is a card I did not so long ago for someone who wanted a very girly baby card. The first thing that came to my mind was, of course, the Butterfly Baby stamp from the Saturated Canary line at LDRS. And what a surprise, IT'S ON SALE RIGHT NOW!!!

**You may stop reading, take a little break, go shopping for your favourite stamps ON SALE, and be back!**

Ok, you're back? Good! So, here's the card with lots of cheesecloth, flowers, dew drops, pins, and fran-tage, to really emphasize that it's a baby girl!

Here are some close-ups...

And the inside of the card, including a long long long text...

Thanks for being with us today and make sure to be part of the LDRS Facebook group, so many things are going to show up!!

Little Darlings rubber stamps : An australian background!

Good morning everyone!

I'm back with you today to show you a very clean and simple card I did with two stamps I love : Jane by Saturated Canary and the Australia background from the Around The World serie. I'm sure I've told you all a couple of times each how much I ADORE background stamps, as they can be so versatile, being stamped on their own or paired with multiple characters. If you haven't got a chance to play with one set yet, make sure to order yours soon, as I'm going to do a little video pretty soon on how to use them!

So, here's the card...

A close-up on Jane...Hi Jane! She's coloured with Copic markers:
Skin (E000-00-21-11-13-04, R20)
Hair (E44-47-49)
Clothing (R01-02-05-08)

And the whole background is done with Ws (1-3-5-7-9)

A look at the inside. Oh wait, we have a Girlfriends sentiment there, how cool!!

Little Darlings rubber stamps : Gothica for Ah! La Carte

Hey everyone!

Today I'm showing you two cards I made with the same stamp called Gothica, from the Saturated Canary line at Little Darlings rubber stamps. You can see how versatile one image can be, as these are two totally different looks!

I used those cards for the monthly challenge I'm hosting at Ah!La Carte, which theme is "Double Trouble" for August.

Ah! La Carte : Crop en ligne L'Éveil du printemps

Hey everyone!

Here's a cute card I did for the online crop being held at Ah! La Carte, a local store here in Quebec, with a Saturated Canary stamp available from Little Darlings.

Little Darlings rubber stamps : Play time!

Goooooood morning lovelies!

I'm here with you today to show a card that was done with two of the CHA 2015 releases for Little Darlings rubber stamps Play Time from the Saturated Canary line and Girlfriends sentiments set from the Vintage Affections one.

The sketch of this card is pretty simple, as I wanted the image to really pops as the center of attention. And of course I had to add that cute framed sentiment from the amazing Girlfriends sentiments set. Have you looked at those yet? I'm not usually a sentiment/quote cardmaker, but I swear the Vintage Affections  has that itty-bitty-something you ought to have. Wait 'til you see how I showcased them on my next two cards!

But, first, let's take a look at the card itself...

Such a funny gal, with her curly hair and skirt!!

Close-up on the single flower that's on the card (rare thing, indeed!)

And the inside!

Hope you liked that card and make sure to show us YOUR fabby work on our Little Darlings rubber stamps Facebook page! You wouldn't want to miss anything ;-)

Little Darlings rubber stamps : Puppy Luv set from Saturated Canary

Hey everyone!

Today I'll show you two creations with the same sketch, and featuring one stamp set! I really like making combos, so the Puppy Luv set from Saturated Canary was the perfect choice in this project, the girl being on a card that was inside an altered box.

Here's the sketch I use, feel free to try it!

As you can see, it's all about how you choose to use the sketch, or you cannot guess it's the same one. Plus, you get to use both stamps, how cool is that?

Little Darlings and Saturated Canary rubber stamps : Oh la la!

(english version follows)

Bonjour, bonjour!

J'avais hâte de vous montrer cette carte pleine d'éléments farfelus mettant en vedette une étampe de Saturated Canary nommée Oh La La!

Good morning everyone!

I'm back with a Saturated Canary  card just for you :) I just love the funny quote on that paired with the Oh La La stamp, the view die-cut and the flairs from Cuts2Luv!

Merci du coup d'oeil! Thanks for stopping by :)
