Now let's get inspired and start hoppin' :)

For my project, I wanted to feature an album where you could write all your thoughts, doodle, and sketches when going through something bad, may it be sickness, family stuff, etc. All you need is courage to stay strong and take things one step at the time, or so they say.

First thing I did was to spray my album covers with Color Bloom sprays, and then I simply started to add embellishments, ribbons, twisted stems and put my image on 3D pop-ups. OH and I used Free Spirit, coloured with a no-line technique with Copic markers, to give a soft look on the mini-album.

Je suis super contente de vous présenter ce mini-album, car j'y ai beaucoup travaillé dernièrement afin de l'offrir à une amie qui m'est chère. Elle m'avait demandé d'inclure ses deux étampes préférées de Papernest Dolls, soient Punk Avery et Girl Talk, alors je leur ai donné une petite touche funky et bien personnelle. 

J'adore le fait que les papiers soient aussi bien agencés au projet, avec la découpe "All Dolled Up".

I'm really happy to show you this mini-album, all made from scratch, that I am offering to a sweet gal. She wanted to include two of her favourite rubber stamps from Papernest Dolls, Punk Avery and Girl Talk, so I added my touch on and around them ;-)

I think the papers are just perfect for them, with the All Dolled Up die-cut!

Karma Scrap : Photo inspiration with a mini-Album Fancy Pants+ My Besties

Voici un des défis du mois d'avril de Karma Scrap pour une inspiration photo de style Shabby. J'ai décidé de m'en inspirer pour créer un mini-album relié avec ma nouvelle Cinch, et quelques feuilles mobiles à l'intérieur pour prendre des notes. Participez par ICI!

Here's a mini-album that I created with my new Cinch and some looseleaf sheets for the new Shabby photo inspiration challenge over at Karma Scrap. I added a couple of buttons here and there, some notes, lots of ribbons, and there it was! You can enter your creation HERE!

Kraftin' kimmie: First January release day!

Bonjour!

Enfin, on les attendait, les nouveautés de Janvier chez Kraftin' Kimmie! J'ai eu beaucoup, beaucoup de plaisir à les travailler, il y a des millions de possibilités et de créations à combiner! Aujourd'hui donc, nous vous présentons deux ensembles d'étampes basés sur les contes de fées, Once Upon A Time (les ensembles 1 et 2 ayant été présentés en décembre dernier), dessinés par l'artiste Cheryl Alger.  Passez et commentez sur chacun des blogues de la liste ci-dessous pour peut-être gagner ces étampes! Les gagnants seront annoncés samedi soir, sur la page Facebook de Kraftin' Kimmie...

J'avais décidé de faire un peu changement ce mois-ci, donc les deux ensembles d'étampes en vedette se retrouvent dans un mini-album sous le thème de Disney, un voyage qui date déjà de plusieurs années. Les pages couvertures ont été faites de A à Z, avec des feuilles de chipboard, beaucoup d'ornements, et enfin cette magnifique poignée de porte que j'avais hâte d'utiliser! Elle est un peu rouillée, alors elle s'agençait déjà bien avec la tenue classique de Jasmine. Si les autres pages vous intéressent, rendez-vous demain! :)

So, here's the cover of the mini-album, made up from scratch with chipboard sheets. As you can see, I love to add lots of embellishments, and I was waiting for so long to come up with an idea with this door knob! It's already a little bit rusted, so I figured that it would be a perfect match for Jasmine's turquoise outfit :) Stay tuned because you'll see all the others pages on tomorrow's post!

DT Art du Scrapbooking_ Kit Sunshine in my soul

Je ne sais pas si ça vous arrive de temps en temps, mais quelques fois, j'aime tellement un élément, une collection de papiers, ou un vêtement, que je ne l'utilise pas. On dirait que je bloque! C'était le cas pour ce kit-boutique, avec la collection Sunshine in my soul de Glitz Design, qui a résulté en un mini-album et une carte-chevalet. D'ailleurs le mini-album sera donné en cours à la boutique Art du Scrapbooking sous peu :)

I don't know if it happens to you from time to time, but sometimes I'm so much in love with an item, a collection of papers or clothing, that I end up not using it. Looks like I'm stuck! This was the case for this scrapbook kit, with the gorgeous Sunshine in my soul collection by Glitz Design, which resulted in a mini-album and a card rack. Moreover, the mini-album will be given as a class at Art du Scrapbooking shortly :)
