IAR: Monthly challenge: Anything goes!

Me again today, for a quick update on the blog :-)

I was super eager to show you all this folded card using all the gorgeous flowers from I Am Roses, along with a super sweet stamp from Stamping Bella called Tiny Townie Garden Lily.

I don't know about you, but I really like when I can reuse a stamp for multiple occasions, and this card called for a non-traditional Christmas twist!

I first started by stamping the image with Desert Sand ink from Memento to get a no-line colouring look, so that the whole card would have a soft look matching the beautiful flowers I had picked for my inspiration.

And to do things differently, I decided to create a center-folded card that would open up with some twine hidden behind the image.

LDRS Creative - Blossom girls, 2 for 1!

Hello all!

I'm back with you today to cheer up the weather after a few freezing days in my part of the world! I decided to use two of the Blossom Girls from the CandiBean line that were released this summer on my cards to bring back the good days to mind.

The first one is named Blossom and paired with two sentiments from the Summer Garden set. She is on top of an easel-shaped card created with the Fancy Squares & Little Things Die Set from the Creative Basics line.

And the second one, simpler but as cute as the first one, is called Daisy along with another sentimentsfrom the Summer Garden set, but she's fussy cut and is placed with 3D foam adhesives on top of an embossed die-cut and panel made with the Picnic Quilt Embossing Folders.

See how the same products can differ in looks? So versatile!

La-La Land Crafts: Anything goes!

New year, new inspiration post on Fridays with La-La Land Crafts! And this time we are going very easy on your eyes, as it's anything goes. I created a sweet card with soft pastel tones in mind, using remnants from a card kit at Ah! La Carte made of Kaisercraft goodies and a few die-cuts pairing miss Winter Coat Molli, here.

LDRS Creative: A very, merry Christmas!

Hello everyone!

First of all, on behalf of the entire team at LDRS Creative, I want to wish you a very merry Christmas! This day is super special to us as it means good times and celebration with your loved ones, both family and friends! Presents, health, surprises, whatever floats your boat :-)

And of course, I couldn't pass out the occasion of showing you another Christmas card, could I? But I promise I'll keep this post short for you to go back to whatever you were doing, eheh!

So, this card features the lovely Oh Deer girl from the Dollhouse line, stamped in pale ink to create a no-line colouring look (see how the antlers are defined with it!) and die-cut with the largest of the Fancy Rectangles & layers die set. And if you look closely enough, you will recognize in the background the amazing Majestic Frame that I use just about everywhere! I also stamped a sentiment (that was released exclusively by LDRS Creative at an HSN show earlier this Fall) on the Basic Pierced Oval die-cut and covered everything under layers of cardstock and papers (from Fancy Pants), twine and flowers (from I Am Roses, of course!).

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps : New release day 4, Heavenly Holiday!

Good morning!

I was eager to show you this card for the new release at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps, featuring two singing angels by Emilie Goulet!

The look is very simple in order to focus on the trio of angels that are wishing you peace and love in a no-line colouring look ;-) To do this, I only had to stamp the middle angel, mask her with some masking paper (love the one at Simon Says Stamp!) and then stamp the other angel on both sides. Simple, but elegant, right?

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps : New release day 1, Santa Paws!

It's the most wonderful time of the year!!!

SugarPeas Designs : A new sketch, two cards!

Hello everyone!

I'm having fun with a few sets in my craft room today, and thought I'd share these two cards made with SugarPea Designs stamps!

The first card features Foxy friend, and I really went out on texture with the fur. Maybe a tad too much, but hey, I'll know better next time ;-) The card was created based on sketch that is currently going on on their blog HERE. I used papers from an old collection pad called Outdoor trails at Kaisercraft.

And since I found another [old] sketch to play with, I paired it with the little penguin from Have an ICE day. I used papers and scraps from the July kit at Ah!la Carte, my local store.

LDRS Creative - Danika

Good morning everyone!

La-La Land Crafts : Add glitter!

Good morning everyone!

Oh yesssss, it's Friday, and that means another inspiration post for La-La Land Crafts :-)
This week is all about glitter on the LLLC blog, so I thought of using all my shiny products : embossed vellum, Wink of Stella brushes, Cryogen White iridescent cardstock, etc. BUT that was without counting the photographing part.....oh well!

Kaisercraft - A few projects

Good evening everyone!

I wanted to show you a few peeks of the upcoming classes I will be teaching on the Ah!La Carte cruise that is held in less than 50 days. Wow, where did time go?! It seems like I suggested this idea to the store owner only a few days ago, but it's been a whole year now!

Anyways, the attendees will all receive a kit featuring the gorgeous Treasured Memories collection from Kaisercraft to take part in these first four classes while we'll be at sea. The task was to try to use as minimal tools and furnitures as possible, since we can only carry so much with us on board ;-) Aren't we all used to our craft room, right?

Here's my first project, a layered card featuring die-cuts, papers, and a Kraftin' Kimmie stamp coloured with Copic markers.

An intricate mini-album made of die-cuts, papers and flowers...

A full scrapbook layout with some little touches of mixed media here and there...

And a few tags made with the die-cuts, stickers and papers...

I have to admit, the kit is so fun to play with, and versatile!! Can't wait to show you the 3 extra classes I worked on, too ;-)

Yes, 2016 has started like a roller coaster for publications! I submitted a few cards for the Spring 2016 issue at Creative Scrapbooker and was lucky enough to get in for the first time, yippee!

My card featured two stamps sets from Kraftin' Kimmie and I really like how the sentiment by Becky Pearce Designs stands out!

La-La Land Crafts : Anything goes inspiration!

Goooood Friday morning everyone!

As I'm getting ready to go for an extra day at school in my weekly schedule (woot!), I'm posting this card for the Anything goes inspiration post at La-La Land Crafts.

Even thought we're almost into February and Valentine's day, I'm still in a Christmas mood and making cards around that, eh eh! So, this is miss Shy Marci, stamped on my all-time favourite cardstock (Cryogen White, of course!!) with pale ink to give her a soft look (Desert Sand by Memento), and then stacked on yummy layers of papers by Kaisercraft, and a couple of matching dies, as always: Cherry Blossom Branch, Lattice Doily Border, Postage Stamps (set of 4), Scalloped Trim Banner, Snowflake Flag Banner, Stitched Elements (set of 7).
