The Greeting Farm: A rainbow thank you!

Hello farmers!

I'm here with you today to share another rainbow creation with The Greeting Farm! You all seemed to like my Boba Anya with rainbow hair during April Release days, so I thought why not give Cheeky Babe her own piece of rainbow clouds?

So I first started by stamping Cheeky Babe with black ink and coloured her with alcohol markers. Then, I diecut her with a polaroid frame and put her aside while I was inking a rainbow backdrop directly onto my A2 cardbase.

Instead of stamping a sentiment to complete the project, I also diecut twice the Thank You - Word Die Cut and decided to have the words split into two parts, hanging in the clouds.

I hope you like this little bit of rainbow into your day and that it gets you crafting for yourself!

SugarPea Designs: Pariscape, Bon voyage!

Hello everyone!

I'm back with you today to share another fun project with the April release at SugarPea Designs. There are just so many possibilities with the new SugarCut – ParisScape!

So to create today's project, I first selected a prefolded white A2 cardbase and a piece of 4"x5 1/4" 100lbs white cardstock that would easily receive a lot of ink. Then, I added few of my favourite Oxide inks to the panel and sprinkled some water. I removed the excess with paper towel, in order to create more accentuated droplets. Once that was dry, I used the ParisScape die that would be the focal point of my card. I stacked it with foam tape to the cardbase, and stamped a few stars from the Chic Wishes stamp set to create the illusion of a starry sky over the city.

I also stamped and embossed in gold the Bon Voyage sentiment from the same stamp set. The card was completed with a few sequins and that was it!

Give it a try, I'm sure you won't regret using the fabulous scapes we have in store :-)

SugarPea Designs : New Release Day 4, BoHo Feathers!

Hi, all!

Already Day 4 of the new release at SugarPea Designs, and I am SO excited to share today's project! I definitely wish I had filmed it to show you guys, so I might recreate it, for fun ;-)

Today's feature is all about BoHo Feathers! So trendy and fun to play with, a real must-have to add to your cart on Friday night when the release hits the show. Just sayin' ;-)

To create this card, I used an oxided background and heat embossed with several different powders the various feathers from the stamp set. I loooooove the big sentiment that comes with it, too!

The Greeting Farm: New Release Day 3, Wild time!

Good morning everyone!

We're halfway through the new release at The Greeting Farm, and today's project is all about WILD TIMES!

I created this scene simply by colouring all my critters, die-cutting them, then popping them on an inked background with foam tabs and an A2 kraft cardbase. I really like the gold embossed sentiment, adding a touch of heat to the safari theme!

The Greeting Farm: New Release Day 2, My Universe!

EGM! It's already Day 2 of the new release at The Greeting Farm!

Today's set is all about space, astronauts and planets from different galaxies, and I must say I never thought I'd love something that much! Seriously, get ready to buy it asap, because I'm already using it on tons of projects myself :-D And this project was the simplest to do, honestly. I created an inked tag, added coloured images that were previously die-cut with foam tabs, stacked it on an A2 cardbase, then stamped a sentiment vertically. I mean... HELLO cuteness!

The new "My Universe" stamp set comes with a coordinating die set and you know you want it, seriously. I know the design team is already begging our boss to have a #2 set ;-)

Lime Citron: Défi 6 du Grand Tournoi Scrap!

Voici le dernier défi du tournoi de Lime Citron, wow, déjà!

J'ai utilisé de l'encre Oxide pour créer mon fond, qui était parfait pour mettre en évidence les étampes numériques fournies pour le Tournoi. J'ai simplement imprimé le tout sur du carton, puis j'ai découpé les silhouettes, tout en laissant une mince bande blanche pour mieux faire ressortir le tout. J'ai terminé en ajoutant différents chipboards du Tournoi, et quelques goutelettes Nuvo Drops blanches.

Today's post is about Sympathy and Kind thoughts to our loved ones, with La-La Land Crafts! It is not always easy to create this type of cards, so I thought I'd go with something moer supportive, using the Things are Looking Up stamp set.

I chose to use an A2 cardbase onto which I added an inked background and the lovely ostriches peaking out of the frame.

Lime Citron: Défi 5 du Grand Tournoi Scrap!

Inspirant, non? J'ai créé mon fond avec les encres Oxide pour créer un dégradé et des taches, puis j'ai ajouté une découpe quadrillée grise pour faire ressortir mon souhait et les découpes d'étampes numériques faites expressément pour le tournoi. J'ai terminé avec quelques gouttelettes Nuvo Drops.

La-La Land Crafts: Embossing inspiration!

Good morning everyone!

I'm very happy to share today's card with you all for La-La Land Crafts, as I'm starting to use less and less patterned papers, thanks to the gorgeous background stamps they now offer!

As you might know, this week's inspiration for Team Monday is all about embossing. So I just had to create a fully embossed turquoise background for my little Frenchie, and a fabulous embossed sentiment.

Ah! La Carte : Thanks, teacher!

Hello, all!

I have not one, but two projects using the fun A Good Apple stamp set from Lawn Fawn to thank your awesome teachers and educators at this end of year! Unfortunately, the set is now sold out on the manufacturer's website, but you can still find it in local stores, like Ah! La Carte.

I used the Rainbow paperpack from Lawn Fawn on the first A2 card, and quickly coloured the apples with my new Avery Elle liquid watercolors. I completed the project with some enamel dots done with Nuvo Drops by Tonic Studios.

On the second project, I used an Oxide background onto which I embossed a trio of apples with white embossing powder from Wow!, added an embossed sentiment in gold, and a few Nuvo Drops once again. Very easy projects, but always fun to offer!

Ici, j'ai utilisé le magnifique stencil créé spécifiquement pour le tournoi avec différentes couleurs Oxide. Une fois sèches, j'ai légèrement décalé le stencil et appliqué de la pâte à texturer, faisant entrelacé le motif rond. J'ai complété avec le superbe chipboard ROCK, aussi créé pour le tournoi :-)

N’oubliez pas que vous pouvez aussi nous présenter votre création sur le forum du tournoi si vous le désirez. 

Assurez-vous de publier votre page dans la section du défi correspondant à votre création.

The Greeting Farm: New Release Day 2, Hands down!

Guys, guys, guys...

This is Day 2 of the new release at The Greeting Farm and a very first for me, as I tried to do some Mail Art! Yay me for getting out of my comfort zone, right? 

I have to say, the new Hands Down stamp set was the perfect item to start with! I am already working on another project with it because the glasses were just TOO cute not to use!

But for this project, I have to say that they were the perfect complement to my Oxide Inks and masking paper for the envelope. 

I'll try to create a video of this later this month, but go ahead and order your set on the 15th in the TGF store!
