The Greeting Farm: Rockstar Anya for Stamping Autism Awareness Blog Hop!

Hello! Me, again!

Do I look like a busy bee? No way, lol! This post is all about awesomeness because The Greeting Farm is an official sponsor for the Stamping Autism Awareness Blog Hop organized by Veronica Zalis! I love how the crafting community can get together and help a significative cause, which I'm super proud to take part of. As an ESL teacher, I'm very close to this situation and I try to stay as informed as I can to be a better support for all my students.

And in this line of thinking, I decided to create a simple, yet elegant card with the newest Rockstar Anya 2 stamp set because everyone deserves to know how they ROCK! I first started by stamping her onto some Cryogen White cardstock, and then coloured her with my Copic markers (list below). I then fussy cut her with sharp scissors, stacked her with foam tabs, and added her directly in the center of a regular white A2 cardbase (4¼"x5½"). I framed her with a sheet of pattern paper from Crate Paper that was die cut with a stitched rectangle die from Lawn Fawn, and then die cut again with an oval die to create a window. I finished by stamping the bold black sentiment right on top of the character and decided that she didn't need anything else; simple is good.

Copic used:
Skin (E000-00-21-11-13-04, RV42)
Hair (E44-47-49)
Clothing (B14-16-18, R24-27-29, C5-7-9, YG21-23-25, W1-3-5)

I hope you have become inspired by this amazing blog hop for Stamping Autism Awareness and that you will be kind to everyone around you :-) Oh and also, make sure to hop around and leave comments, so that you can win prizes for the amazing sponsors :-)
