For today's card, I decided to create a very CAS project by stamping and die-cutting with the same fabulous set called Blooming Bugs! I love how versatile this set is, and super organized too, since it all comes into one pocket!
For today's card, I decided to create a very CAS project by stamping and die-cutting with the same fabulous set called Blooming Bugs! I love how versatile this set is, and super organized too, since it all comes into one pocket!
To create this card, I first started by folding a piece of white cardstock in two to get an A2 size (4 1/4"x11", giving you 4 1/4"x5 1/2"). Then, I cut a white piece of cardstock to 4"x5 1/4" and rounded the corners with a punch, for a different look. Since there was a navy piece of cardstock lying on my craft table not too far, I decided to use it to make my panel pop and rounded its left top and bottom corners, too.
I then stamped various images from the Blooming Bugs set onto my favourite colouring cardstock with the brand new Raven ink from LDRS Creative (a really, really black ink!) and coloured them all with my Copic markers. I die-cut everything with the coordinating dies from the same set, then popped them with foam tabs on my cardbase. I borrowed and inked with the Watermark pad a sentiment from the Mini Winnie Boutique stamp set onto some scrap of navy cardstock and then heat embossed it with the new white embossing powder. I glued it on my card, completed with a few Nuvo Drops, and there it was!
