I'm back with you today at The Greeting Farm for a special card project, right before we start featuring the new April release tomorrow!
For today's card, I had in mind to send some positive vibes out there in the world, with everything that's been going on.
I first started by stamping my character from the Miss Anya Bless You stamp set in pale ink, so that once she would be colored with alcohol markers, she'd have a no-line coloring look. When she was completed, I cut the white cardstock to a small rectangle and chose a patterned paper that would go nicely with the colors I had picked up.
When I chose the sentiment from the This Day stamp set to finish my project, I had in mind that it would be separated onto the different layers of the card. So I placed my stamp onto an acrylic block, hid the bottom part with masking tape, then inked the top part. Next, I removed the masking tape and was able to stamp the first line at the feet of
Miss Anya. I did the same process once again, but masking the top part of the sentiment, for stamping the second line on the patterned paper.
When everything was assembled, I added a few white drops for a nice finishing touch and that was it!
