The Greeting Farm: Cheers!

 

Hey, farmers!

I'm here today with my last post for The Greeting Farm. And while I could definitely be sad, I decided to see it positively and cheers to that with today's project!

As always when I'm looking for inspiration, I looked at what was on my craft desk and this time, I found an image I had coloured weeks ago. This image is from the exclusive kit called "Aloha". She practically begged me to be turned into a card! So I diecut a stitched panel with her at the bottom, and added a few circles here and there with my markers, so that we could feel a "bubbly" effect coming out of the project. Hey, I can imagine whatever I want, okay? Hehe!

Last but not least, I took out Holiday Anya 8 and used the sentiment from the set when heat embossing in white over black cardstock. Next, I popped the black strip with foam tape onto my card front and my project was done!

I used the large sentiment from the Unicorn Bday stamp set as my focal point on a very CAS card. I first created a large mask with masking paper and diecut a circle in the center, to create an opening. Next, I applied the new mask directly onto my A2 white cardbase so that I could ink a perfect circle right in the center. After that, I stamped the sentiment in the same space, and then removed the mask. 

Finally, I completed the card with the unicorn colored image that I had left from Day 2 and popped it with foam tape for more dimension.

The Greeting Farm: November release Day 4, Love couple!

 Good morning everyone!

Last sneak peek day for The Greeting Farm and we have the cutest couple in town!

They are so adorable that I put my big pants on and went ahead with some no-line coloring on both characters. After a few minutes (ahem... hours) I was able to attach the coloured panel to an A2 cardbase, stamp a sentiment directly onto the lovebirds and add some twine.

The Greeting Farm: November release Day 3, Let's Pawty!

 Hey, all!

Day 3 it is for the new release with The Greeting Farm and the new set is going to steal your heart if you're an animal lover!

The set is called 'Let's Pawty' for a reason: there's a super cute dog attached to a set of balloons and two cats celebrating with a cake! I couldn't resist colouring them all and created a slim line card to feature a little birthday scene.

The Greeting Farm: November release Day 2, Unicorn Bday!

 Hello everyone!

Today is Day 2 of the new release at The Greeting Farm and we're very excited to share some sneak peek of Unicorn Bday!

Obviously, Anya is the cutest of them all, but when she's dressed with a unicorn hairband, I completely go head over heels! And the accessory pieces in the stamp set are very cute, too. I love that there is a large sentiment to complement her.

The Greeting Farm: November release Day 1, Cheeky A+

 Hey, all!

Today is the first sneak peek of the last release for 2020 with The Greeting Farm! And we're kicking it off with a Cheeky that has been requested for a long time, Cheeky A+, aka the teacher :-)

Isn't she fabulous with her little clipboard and so stylish?! Honestly, I wish I looked like her when I'm teaching in my own classroom, not the jeans and tshirt kind of teacher, hehe. I kept my card very simple, but I made sure to use both accessory stamps included in the small set because they totally fit.

The Greeting Farm: Christmas Digis!

Good morning everyone!

Now that Halloween is officially over, we can get ready for the next big thing, aka CHRISTMAS! And The Greeting Farm is releasing today a few digi sets to help you out with your Christmas cards! 

I was looking for something simple and elegant, so I assembled a few pieces onto a fireplace, which totally means Christmas spirit to me. I wish you could see the sparkling effect on this card, you guys! I sprayed the whole thing with several layers of Sparkle Shimmer from Tsukineko so that it would be very... well... sparkly! hehe

The Greeting Farm: 2nd October DT feature

Good morning everyone!

 

I'm back with you today for The Greeting Farm with another Fall project, this time using a word diecut from the store.

It's no secret that absolutely love the large kits that Marie releases from time to time, even though they sell out quickly! And what I like the most is that I can pair them all depending on the season and the theme, all year-round. 

 

For today's project, I used the Hi Hello Word Die Cuts three times to get some dept with the plaid background I had selected. Next, I stamped

my image from the Spellbinding kit and colored it with alcohol markers. The little girl got a matching scarf in plaid pattern, too. I completed the card with a few drops here and there on a white A2 cardbase.

For today's card, I used the two characters from the 'Warm Wishes' stamp set. I first stamped them in FadeOut ink and coloured them with Copic markers. Then, I stamped in black the pile of gifts. While colouring, one of my BG markers decided to pool down on my panel, almost ruining the scene that I had been working on for a while now. So instead of trashing it, I decided to create more puddles all over the images, efficiently camouflaging my boo-boo. And it will still make someone happy in the mail!

The Greeting Farm: Preview Day 4-HELLO FALL DIGI SET

 Hey, all! Or should I say... hey, Fall!

Today is the last preview day for The Greeting Farm and it's a digital sneak peek, no less!

We will have Fall sentiments in store, and some adorable Fall decorations to boot. I printed them all and coloured my favorites with Copic markers, then I started playing with each cut piece on my A2 cardbase. Very simple, but I love the effect.

The Greeting Farm: Preview Day 3-HOLIDAY ANYA 8

Hey, all!

Another stunning set is being featured today with The Greeting Farm, called Holiday Anya 8!

She is definitely my favorite of the entire release, just because she screams CHRISTMAS to me, hehe. So I stamped her in FadeOut Ink from InkOn3 and coloured her with Copic markers. Next, I stamped three times the little tree accessory stamp next to her, to give a more Christmas-y vibe to the CAS scene.

The Greeting Farm: Preview Day 2-WARM WISHES

 Good morning crafty friends!

As it gets colder here in Canada, so it does in the new release from The Greeting Farm! 

The new Warm Wishes stamp set is simply too cute for words! And instead of going for the couple, I decided to stamp the little bear three times and create a winter cozy card with a snowflake stencil and three different colour combo.

 Hey everyone!

It's time for the October release at The Greeting Farm and we're kicking it with a fantastic set called STAR COUPLE.

I stamped the little girl from the set with FadeOut Ink from InkOn3, a Copic-friendly product, to see how it would react when coloring. Turns out, it's too light for me and my old eyes, LOL! But the character still looks gorgeous, doesn't she?

For today's card, I used the Halloween digis because Halloween season is way too short not to indulge, am I right?! The little characters all disguised are just too adorable! I tried to color a realistic moonlit sky, but it looks like a wheel of cheese, lol. Oh well!

The Greeting Farm: Day 4 New Release, Trick or treat digi!

 

Trick or treat!

It's day 4 of the new release at The Greeting Farm, with a very fun printable called Trick or Treat!

I loved the different characters added to the haunted mansion and the bats in the sky, clearly feels like Hallow'Eve, don't you think?

Just one more day to wait before every new set gets added to the TGF store, yippie!

The Greeting Farm: Day 3 New Release, Cheeky Honey!

Alright, cheeky fans! 

It's Day 3 of the new release at The Greeting Farm and I know many of you will be super happy to see this set!

The newest addition to the Cheeky family is called 'Cheeky Honey' and can be used for literally all occasions! I kept her very simple on today's card, but there are tons of possibilities.

The Greeting Farm: Day 2 New Release, Falala!

 Good morning!

Today is Day 2 for the sneak peeks at The Greeting Farm and I've been dying to share the new 'Falala' stamp set with you all!

It's no secret that anything Christmas/Winter related is a big winner with me, so I truly enjoyed playing with this set for the first time! The script of the sentiment is fantastic, and what's to say about these adorable snowy characters, right?!

The Greeting Farm: Day 1 New Release, Nice couple!

Hey, all!

Welcome back to Day 1 of the September sneak peeks at The Greeting Farm! Today we are featuring the new 'Nice Couple' stamp set that comes with both a boy and a girl characters and some sweet accessory stamps.

I decided to use the little gal from the stamp set, along with the flowers, butterflies and sentiment, on a slim line card. I love how you can quickly create a scene with this kind of stamp set!

The Greeting Farm: 3 cards with digital sentiments!

 Hey all!

I'm back with you today for The Greeting Farm to share how to use several stamps with the same layout! And what's more... digital sentiments taking the spotlight!

I truly love the digital sentiments added in store not too long ago by Marie, and I had a few colored images that were waiting, anxiously, on the corner of my craft desk. So I decided to print a full sheet of digital sentiments and diecut them all with a basic circle die, varying the size. All cards are done with the same layout in mind, to which I added a character.

The first one is done using the Coffee Friend Digi, along with a retired stamp, the Leo girl from Hairoscope.

The second card is done with the 'Joy Is In The Journey' Digi, along with the little girls from the Minkie #1 set.

And on the third one, I used the Watcha Doin' Digi with a character from the Hairoscope set, the Libra girl.

The Greeting Farm: Furmaids!

 Hey, all!

I'm back with you today to share some under the sea inspiration with the Furmaids stamp set that was released back in July at The Greeting Farm. I can't seem to let go of Summer just yet, so I figured, why not play some more with the totally adorable furmaids in store!

I had this idea in my head where I wanted all the furmaids to be playing together and having fun under water. So I first stamped them all, then colored them with Copic markers.

Next, I used a stencil and marked all the rays from the under water scene with a pencil. With those guidelines, I was able to colour in the different rays with various shades of blue and green, going all the way over the characters so they'd really mix with the scene, then erase all those pencil lines.

I completed the card with a sentiment from the stamp set and a few touches of glossy accent on the bubbles. Hope you like it!
