SugarPea Designs: Winter release day 3, Otterly!

Good morning, peeps!

Me again, for Day 3 at SugarPea Designs with an otterly cute set! Get it? I know, I know, too easy ;-)

Do I really have to tell you how CA-UTE the new set looks like? Otters, people, otters!

And as I was saying on Day 1, this release is truly my favourite because of all the new card building elements you can see! Isn't this coverplate fabulous?! It makes whipping a card for any occasion so easy! 

But don't take my word for it, try it out yourself! Here's how I did my card using all elements. I first selected a white prefolded 4¼"x5½" cardbase onto which I added a pattern paper from the Sugar & Spice collection that was die-cut using the new coverplate. Setting this aside, I stamped all the cute little otters onto some Cryogen White cardstock so that I could colour them with my Copic markers. Using the matching dies, I cut all silhouettes and popped them with 3D foam tabs onto the cardbase. I then stamped a sentiment from the Otter set onto a stitched rectangle die-cut. I added a few white Nuvo Drops from Tonic Studios as a nice finishing touch, and voilà!
