LDRS Creative - Sweet sugar cube

Good morning everyone!
Today, I'm showing you one of the simplest card designs you could possibly imagine, and still get a stunning result. It's all about matching papers that inspire you with stamps that you love! I really wanted to show how whimsical the mice from the Sweet Sugar Cube stamp set (from the CandiBean line at LDRS Creative) were with bright, colorful papers. And never forget sentiments that match perfectly, like those from the You set!

At first, I stamped the sentiment on some scrap paper that already had the shape of a flag, but when I'll do this sketch again, I will definitely use the Basic Stitched Flags from the Creative Basics line. It's just way much faster, and cuter, right?! The other die that needs to be mentionned here is the Darling Square set, one of my all-time favourites at LDRS Creative. Even if you don't have a cutting machine wide enough to use the largest square, all the other parts can be used, too!

I started by stamping my image, coloured it with Copic markers, and then stenciled around it with a pencil and the interior of the smaller square. All you have to do is take out a sharp pair of scissors and then cut along the line. This will gives you much more than before, as you will be able to create both the inside and the outside piece, resulting in a total of three pieces from one single die!
Copic markers used on this piece:
Mice (C00-0-1-3-5, E04, RV42)
Sugar cubes (E40-41-42)
Tea cup (RV11-14-17-19, BG10-11-13-15-18-75-78)
Ground (YG23-25)

Absolutely stunning. The simple design makes the mousies stand out so much more. Adorable stamp, too.
